Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. MI PERMETTO DI CONSIGLIARE VIVAMENTE LA PIU' PICCOLA ED ECONOMICA VETTURA PER MUOVERSI COMODAMENTE, POICHE' I TRASPORTI PUBBLICI ED I TAXI NON SONO CONFORTEVOLI NELLE NOTRE ZONE The apartment is 5 km from Como, 2 km from Torno, 40 km from Milan, 38 km from Lugano. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Ideale per rilassarsi, ascoltando il suono delle onde del lago, che lambiscono l'abitazione. Si trova nel centro del tipico paese di Carate Urio, di fronte alla caffetteria, alla farmacia, a due negozi di alimentari ed alla fermata dei bus C10 e C20. il parcheggio pubblico è davanti all'entrata della casa

House is as, if not more, beautiful than the photos portray. It’s fantastically spacious and has all the amenities you could need for a few days or a few weeks. What made this place particularly special was how great the “Rent All Como” team was. They met us and helped with bags on arrival and met us to say good bye. One of the things I tend to miss with Airbnb vs a hotel is the concierge’s assistance with transport and restaurant bookings. The Rent All Como team however is as good or better than most 5* hotel concierge teams. Nothing is too much trouble and they are super responsive.

Alberto was a wonderful host. It was our first time in Comi. Our stay at the apartment was right in the center of Como; everything is walkable. We felt right at home. There is a 24 hour market up the street. Alberto provided recommendations for dinner, boat tours etc. He was very responsive and kind to provide more toilet paper when we asked (we did buy some as well). Grazie Alberto! We loved our stay. 😌🩷

We had a great trip to Como, thanks to the help and advice from our host Jacopo. The apartment is fantastic and perfectly located in central Como. Just minutes walking to all the attractions in the city center and lake. The apartment is exactly as it looks, very comfortable and well stocked. Jacopo helped with suggested activities and great restaurants (thank you Jacopo!)! Highly recommend this location!!

Great modern apartment, very comfortable, great location near grocery store and restaurants. cars are not allowed in the city center so it's peaceful and quiet but you do have to walk about 2 mins, which was not a big deal even with luggage. would stay again.

Amazing stay at Cinzia’s home. I wish I never had to leave. Her and her family were so helpful and kind. For us, the location was perfect - close to everything and just a short walk into town, but still felt secluded and private, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and nature all around. Cinzia was responsive to any of our questions and helped coordinate a massage for us by the water, and a multi-course dinner service at the home - everything was exceptional.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut. Es war alles sauber. Wie hatten kein platzmangel mit zwei Badezimmern. Sehr gut klimatisiert. Den Pool haben die Vermieter jeden Abend gereinigt. Schöne Lage. Bis Como-Zentrum 10 Minuten mit Auto.
