Farmstay holiday rentals in Somogy County

We spent an awesome long weekend at Julianna’s place. The panoramic lake view from the terrace is spectacular. The fully fenced garden was perfect for our dog. Marked hiking routes, and several vineyards are in walking distance. Daytime temperatures reached 30 °C while we were there, yet the house stayed pleasantly cool throughout. Highly recommended.

Rozsa was very responsive, hospitable, gave us several recommendations regarding the area, which beaches to go to, etc. She offered her help to meet us at a certain time in the foothills and escorted us to the top where the house is located. The house itself is very cozy, well thought out, with many different interior details and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. This place gives you a feeling of privacy, but at the same time you know that your neighbors will be nearby. The view of the valley and lake was amazing. The first night the wild animals were a bit noisy and disturbing, for the rest of the week I think they realized we were there and didn't come back. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Wonderful, clean and spacious apartment. Front patio, lawn and view of vineyard and lake great. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. Hosts are very friendly and quick to answer any questions. Thank you, it was a wonderful stay!

A really nice house and garden in a small, beautiful village. Everything was clean and well organized. Approaching the place is not particularly easy, but if silence and nature is what you are looking for, it is definitely worth the effort.

Very nice cozy cottage, both indoors or outdoors. Beautiful view of a mountain from the cottage and from the terrace and cottage lies in a beautiful area for hiking and cycling. Kitchen is well equipped. We had a really good time and would love to come back! The communication with Gabor and his mother was great. The contact on site was with Maria, she was more than friendly and very helpful!

Ferenc's accommodation is dreamlike – in the middle of nature, yet everything is easily accessible. A truly beautiful oasis, with a huge garden, a very clean and comfortable house. Perfect place if you want to break out of everyday life. Thank you for the hospitality, I recommend it to everyone from the heart!

We had a lovely stay at Judit’s place with our two little kids. She was very accommodating and the house was beautiful.

It was 5 of us four grown ups and a little baby. The house is very sweet and not big, but very cozy we really enjoyed our stay! You can find everything for grill and for kids, in general everything you need. The house had a huge backyard and neighbors are very friendly. If you want to escape from the city and chill in nature it is a perfect accommodation for you. Thank you 🌺❤️

It is a lovely and welcoming place with a great garden and something to explore in every corner. In the courtyard of the small house, two hammocks on the tulip tree were the perfect place for an afternoon drop. Krisztina is a kind and attentive host and has helped with all questions.

Attila was really nice and friendly, he responded quickly to all our requests. The place is a gem if you are searching for a quiet get away from the weekend. The kabin was really easy to find and perfectly enough for 2 people. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything what you might need.

In a wonderful location, an old fairytale thatched press cottage. The place itself is a slice of history, it takes you back to an old age, yet it carries all the comforts of today's modern world. It's awe-inspiring how Hungarian culture appears among these old, cool, and protective walls. The preservation of all the elements of this press house is a sign of great love. The family, the beloved, carries the marks of kindness with the fruit trees and lavender plantations of this place. The landlord and his helper are immeasurably kind and helpful. Anyone who stays here falls in love with the place, they don't want to go home or go home. In addition to the fact that all the vineyards, fruit trees, spices and herbs are all at your fingertips, the small inhabitants of the forest themselves will be honored if we wait patiently on the bench in front of the house, which rests under the shade of an old and huge walnut tree. Deer, wild rabbits, pheasants come to the house and curiously contemplate the temporary residents of the house. The pool behind the house is flawless, clean and warm.

It's a really good place, the view from the house is worth a stay in itself. The neighborhood is very peaceful, almost a separate effort should be made if we want to see people. And in the silence of the night, just a distant dog barking "makes" you feel from the village beneath the hill. If we don't want to spend our time in the house, you can hike the surrounding hiking trails, forests, and many sights within half an hour.

Had a wonderful stay as part of our trip around Lake Balaton. Our host communicated clearly with perfect instructions to enter. The place was exactly as described and shown in the photos. It was a quiet area, though you may hear a small bit of freeway noise if you sleep with windows open! I felt like this was the perfect example of a place to stay in this area of the lake - a smaller home on a piece of land. They even have grapes growing on the property. Sharing some extra details to help future guests plan: When we stayed, the kitchen had essentials (silverware, kettle, dishes) but also had some amenities (coffee, tea, sugar). There were no shower amenities (body wash, shampoo, soap) so be sure to bring yours! We recommend Czirok Lajos (a restaurant nearby) if you have time for dinner!

The host was really nice, friendly and helpful. The view is just breathtaking (getting up there via narrow paths with a car is not the easiest thing, but it’s worth it). The place is huge, clean and organized, it has everything that it needs, perfect for big groups: loads of space for socializing, outside cooking possibility, wine cellar, saunas, well-equipped kitchens. The decoration of the place is very unique, not necessarily our style, but it’s nice and well-maintained. Have I mentioned the breathtaking view?

What a fantastic place! Beautiful Appartment, fantastic surroundings and a beautiful pool. Kitchen was very well equipped and the hostess (Monika) was great, Google translate it was but it helped so much in feeling away from it all. Also the kids absolutely loved it. They make their own wine which adds to the experience. Went for a run in the early morning, very much liked the diverse environment. All in all we really enjoyed our time, the place is fantastic and lives up to the expectation. We might go again next year!

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation near Lake Balaton. The property is absolutely spotless, with a luxurious feel throughout. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The outdoor space is truly stunning – a beautifully maintained garden and courtyard, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Another highlight was the charming wine cellar in the basement – a hidden gem that adds a lot of character to the place. Although no meals were provided, the fully equipped kitchen and nearby restaurants made it easy to enjoy our time. The pool was also fantastic – clean, peaceful, and ideal for warm, sunny days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and peaceful getaway in the Balaton area!

All was great. Mark and Debs are very nice and helpful. They created a lovely place where one can just relax and enjoy life. The campsite and the rooms are very clean, positive and comfortable. The food was tasty and enjoyable. The hosts created a really wonderful place. We recommend it to everybody.
