Villa holiday rentals in Somogy County

We had a wonderful vacation My husband and I rode bikes. My son fishes non-stop on the house's own jetty. So there was something for everyone. The tranquility and the species-rich flora and fauna were unique. We might even get to see a turtle laying eggs. All around, just great days. 😃

Great stay in a lovely house right on the shores of the lake. We were right next to the public lake access which gave us great restaurants at our doorstep (but was not too noisy or disturbing!). House was spotless and air conditioning worked well. Would recommend for any group looking for a nice holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's, and will definitely go back. Lovely accommodation and very peaceful. Balatonboglar was just a few minutes drive away with shops, restaurants and everything you needed for your stay in the area. Having the air-conditioning was a real bonus as the weather was very hot so made our stay very comfortable. Communication was excellent, & like I said before will definitely return in the future. It is a very nice house with a great well-kept garden and close to the water. Within walking distance are some restaurants and a shop for smaller purchases. By car, you can reach Siofok in a few minutes. If necessary, you can also take the bus and train, which is also nearby. Zsuzsanna is a very friendly and accommodating hostess. We visited with our 1 1/2 year old daughter. Even though there was no crib or high chair, everything worked out great. We felt very comfortable.

We enjoyed the stay with 3 children and two dogs. The house, which is located in a quiet side street, is very well equipped and the table tennis table was well received. Two beach resorts and the waterfront promenade are within walking distance. A visit to the Tihany peninsula is also worthwhile. Communication with Botond was great!

This beautiful, spacious house is really equipped with all the comforts. Everything has been thought of; washing machine, freezer, ping pong table, foosball table, infrared sauna, sports occasion and so on. Everything is (if)new and super clean. The very spacious garden with a magnificent view at the top, is well maintained. Beds are lovely, shower is fantastic, lots of water. But the most beautiful thing I think is the absolute tranquility...... you really hear nothing, delicious. Of course, I make an exception to the sounds of nature, but that's wonderful to hear that the many swallows are flying. We enjoyed our stay at this place.

We enjoyed our getaway in Szigliget a lot and it wouldn't have been the same without this amazing apartment. It's perfect for a couple, and we loved the fact that we could bring our dog with us. The view is just perfect, I could just stare at the Balaton 24/7 and never get bored of it. The bed is actually a couch and it was a bit uncomfortable, maybe a memory foam mattress topper would be a nice addition, but for a couple of nights it was okay. Keeping in touch with the owners was super easy: lovely and very helpful guys. The first day I wrote to them rather as a joke that a couple of wine glasses would have been a nice touch in a wine region, as we did not find any in the cupboard. After that we went for a walk and by the time we got back, tada, we had wine glasses! Thanks again guys, you are awesome! There is a strong wifi connection in the apartment, I could get a few video meetings done for work. Amazing restaurant (Volcanos) 3 minutes walk away, definitely worth many visits.

Totally recommend this AirBnB. Really close walk to the lake. The lake is so good for adults and kids. Jetties to swim and dive off, playgrounds, sports, food and drink, SUPs and pédalos to hire. The apartment is fantastic. Really comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden and fire pit / bbq area and outdoor seating. Bikes to borrow. We arrived by train and had no need for cars. Miklos must be the most helpful host I’ve experienced. He gave loads of info, arranged for meat to be in the fridge when we arrived, helped with logistics. All in all a brilliant place for us to spend some quality downtime with the kids. Go there!!

Pictures don’t do this place justice. So peaceful with the best view of lake balaton, feels secluded but with everything you could need. Host was very flexible and responsive. For those with small children and limited mobility would be aware that only one bedroom on the first floor and outside because of the nice view there are lots of stairs.

What a lovely home! The indoor pool was a huge hit with my kids, and the living and outdoor spaces were amazing. The house has a garden the size of a full lot and we were invited to pick fresh fruit and vegatables. Mariann was an amazing host and super flexible with our arrival which changed a few times. We will return!

The house is large, there is a barbecue grill, the pool is very clean, the host is very friendly, the house is as per the photos, there is air conditioning in every room, a super nice house

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay! Our family (kids, parents, and grandparents) had the best time at this gorgeous villa in Balatonfured. The house is so pretty, with comfy furniture and cool decorations that made us feel right at home. We loved hanging out by the pool. The kids had a blast, and us adults got to relax in style. It felt like our own little paradise. The kitchen is great (we love to cook), and we enjoyed eating outside on the terrace every day and every meal. It was great being so close to the lake too - we could walk to the beach and restaurants in just a few minutes. If you're looking for a special place to make memories, this villa is perfect. We can't wait to come back!

Zita is a great host. She was super responsive, helpful and kind. The house is amazing, perfect in every detail, it is a great place to have for a family vacation with three generations.

The couple who manages the expense is very professional, they have an attitude that is very rare in Hungary. The house is of course very nice, quality furniture, beds.

We all liked 11 (8 adults and 3 grandchildren). We will definitely come back. If it works, even next year.

We had a fantastic time in this charming villa. It is located right in the heart of the old town. You walk out the door, take a few steps, and are in the middle of all the fun, sights, and bites. The magic? Somehow, this place still is private and hidden. It's like a secret garden. The villa is super spacious and decked out with everything you didn't even know you needed. My favorite part was the backyard. If you are traveling with kiddos, this spot is gold. Kids can run around and play while you relax with a great meal and a glass of local wine. This villa is like that awesome song you find and put on repeat but don't want to tell anyone about it cause it's yours. Of course, some secrets are too good not to share. :-)

Lovely house with a perfect size of pool and garden. The location is very ideal being close to the lake. Great stay I’d definitely recommend the place.

Very nice journey with friends in this very cute house. Iris takes care of Villa Lovas, with some decorations and attentions for her hosts. The house, the patio and the swimming pool were very cosy. We finally spend our three days at Villas Lovas and didn't want to quit ! The only thing to notice is that there is no dishwasher. It is my fault, I didn't pay attention to that in the listing, but it can become difficult with many people. But thanks Iris for your kindness and your great welcome, we are looking forward to come back at Villa Lovas.

Bastian is extremely friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a big smile and a tasty bowl of watermelon. Wonderful because it was so warm. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and decor of the room. We immediately had a click with the host who went above and beyond to delight us. He showed us beautiful places nearby and surprised us with his gastronomic arts. We felt so at home that we immediately booked another night. Bastian has spared effort to make it cozy both inside and outside, such as cozy seating areas and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. The fact that Bastian hospitality is very important is evident from the fridge by the pool where you can grab a drink and put the pennies in a cash box. In transit or a nice place to stay at Lake Balaton? Villa Nova is highly recommended!

There were three of us in the vacation home for three days. The accommodation was functional and the swimming pool served us very well. Only the two sofa beds are not super comfortable. But if you don't expect a bed, that's totally fine. We would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our family holiday here. The appartement offers everything needed and swimming pool is a nice extra. The free beach is very close by and one of the best we visited around Balaton.

Almost everything was perfect, the only 2 issues we had 1. No air conditioner (but we know it of course, so can't complain) 2. In my opinion it's less suitable with babies (0-3). But otherwise we really recommend it. Edina been good for us and very friendly, and help with all we need.

Joker Villa is nice to relax. There is a nice swimming pool to swim in or sit on the swing bench or lie on a sunbed. Furthermore, the space was equipped with many comforts and the bed was nice. We stayed in the outbuilding with a beautiful large terrace. Adrienn is a very friendly and active hostess, our comment about the wifi was resolved within an hour.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic—close to a great beachfront and many supermarkets. The view was absolutely amazing, even better than we could see in the pictures! The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. No issues at all! Overall, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!
