It's about a 15 min walk to the city center and Central Train Station, but still in a quiet and relaxed area with cosy restaurants and a city beach nearby that is very popular by locals during summer. 2 grocery stores in near proximity with late opening hours (closes at 11pm).

The cabin is a part of a half acre large property "Krislund", situated in a quiet place, 200 m from the beach, in an area with old houses and large gardens. View towards Oslo. The ferry to Oslo goes regulary from the tip of Nesodden, 20 min walk. 25 min drive to the amusementpark "Tusenfryd". We live in the mainhouse of the property. Optimal for two persons, possible with four. (The loft-bed is a bit claustrophobic dough fully sized)

May and June are typically months for celebrating the traditional Norwegian "russefeiring", which means you can hear "russe" music both late at night and possibly early in the morning. The music comes from Oslo and the sound travels over the water.
