Our guesthouse, which was once a historic laundry, has been transformed into cosy accommodation with great attention to detail. With a successful combination of rustic flair and modern comfort, we offer you the perfect retreat here for relaxing days and nights. The Thuringian Forest is known for its unspoilt nature, its numerous hiking and cycling trails and its rich cultural history. The house is located in the idyllic climatic health resort of Friedrichroda in the Thuringian Forest!

Holiday Home - right in the middle of Germany

Our house is located in a prime residential area and next to the forest. Everything was renovated and lovingly refurnished in 2023. Parking is available in front of the house. The house sleeps up to 10 people. With the house comes a partly covered terrace and a barbecue. Thüringen is famous for its "best bratwurst in the world" and we want you to enjoy to the max. The City center is a 10 min. walk away and restaurant "Berggarten" in the forest with a nice playground about 20 min.

Old Riethmühle

When was the last time you experienced a sunset in completely free nature, just rocked or sat down with a book in the natural silence? The Riethmühle is located about 1.5 km downstream of the idyllic village of Laucha. The former 4-sided farmhouse was divided 70 years ago and there are neighbors. For rent is the lovingly renovated mill house with a large plot to get some air, enjoy and recharge. We rent our living space from May - September.....

Enjoy the quiet and rural location. Old timber framing meets modern style with a cozy fireplace. The central location between the cultural highlights in Eisenach, Gotha and Erfurt distinguishes our village. You can leave the car behind and use the train from Eisenach to Weimar to experience Thuringian culture! Furthermore, shopping and gastronomy are available in the village, so your stay will be absolutely relaxed!

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 3-storey house, with a converted attic. The apartment with bay window and balcony has a floor space of about 90 m². The three bedrooms can each be locked separately. The common areas, such as hallway, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and living room, are used exclusively by our guests. There is also a possibility of storing bicycles safely and dry in the building.

Family Friendly Villa

In our beautiful Wilhelminian-style villa, we have reserved a separate spacious apartment for our guests. Quiet yet close to the center. Fast Internet available via Wi-Fi. In addition, you have a private roof terrace and can use our garden by personal arrangement. Parking in front of the house is available. The historic house takes you back to a time of relaxation and slows down your time off!

Stay at an authentic East German hiking cabin.

Cheap accommodation in one of our log cabins. Please do not forget, "bring your own bedding or sleeping bag"! You can rent also our bed linen: 8,50 Euro per person. "Only cash payment on location possible". Stay at an authentic East German holiday camp near the city Eisenach. We have a large communal room, campfire area, communal BBQ, kitchen, showers & toilets.
