There are two separate apartments, each almost 100m². The hikers' and bikers' pod is located in one of the gardens of the old school in Elchweiler/Schmißberg. The sleeping area, with the 140 cm x 200 cm bed, takes up about half of the interior space of the rustic wooden house. There are two chairs, a small table and a wooden bench. There is plenty of storage space under the bed. There is an electric heater. The communal camping kitchen is set up in the garage. Toilet/shower are in the main house (shared)

We have excluded pets but dogs are allowed and welcome, The apartment is a few meters from the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and very close to Erbeskopf and Idar-Oberstein. Restaurants, a bakery, a butcher and supermarkets are quickly accessible from the apartment by car.

We stayed in the area for a long weekend hiking/walking and enjoyed our stay! By car, the national park with its many different dream loops is super close and easily accessible. Information about the hiking routes was ready, and Sascha and Verena also had tips for us:) The apartment is very clean, new and well equipped. Sascha and Verena were super helpful, easily accessible by message and also in person. Despite being physically close, we had the feeling of being for us and enjoyed breakfast in the sun, overlooking the garden.

Christine made her accommodation available to us at very short notice. Despite the sparse preparation time, everything was super nicely prepared and we felt right at home! Wonderful apartment! Spacious and high rooms. A little old, but we love that. We felt right at home there. We had good contact with Michelle Therese. The hot water didn't work well and it was fixed right away. The only downside is that the house is on a busy road. Whatever goes on at night. So bringing earplugs is a good idea! But in terms of price/quality, you take that road on the sale. We made very nice trips from Tiefenstein. The natural outdoor swimming pool is also a must. The gemstone mine is also worth a visit, especially looking for the stones with children. We did a day in Trier and on the way back we went tobogganing and wakeboarding in Triolago. Had really great days!
