House holiday rentals in Sooke

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

K would definitely come back.. actually trying to book next summer for a month.

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

Matt and Lina’s place was truly an oasis. The seven of us were so comfortable and enjoyed the pool/ hot tub and sauna time. Matt and Lina were fantastic to communicate with. We would highly recommend staying here if you love the peacefulness and privacy of the forest with ALL the amenities.

We were 2 couples visiting the province for a family gathering. This place was absolutely perfect for us! Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated homes. The gardens are gorgeous and we grew attached to all the lovely animals outside the front door! The rural setting was close to all the urban places we visited....and we enjoyed getting to know the surrounding area. Krista was responsive and helpful....and gave us lots of great tips! This is the best airbnb experience we have ever had!

This is a beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. The yard and neighborhood are lovely. The decor and art is fun, even has live plants. Beds are comfortable, nice linens. Kitchen is large and well stocked. It is multi level and has stairs in many areas.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Sooke, BC. The house has such a warm, homey feel—perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 6–10), and was super bright and clean! The location is stunning, right on an ocean inlet where the kids spent hours, finding crabs, and discovering all kinds of ocean life just steps from the front door. They loved every minute of it! The home itself is thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of cozy spots to relax. The hot tub was such a treat after a day of adventuring and there are so many beautiful sitting areas around the property, each offering a different, breathtaking view. And the garden is absolutely incredible—lush, vibrant, and clearly well cared for. Our hosts, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Every amenity was provided, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend booking Becky and Scott’s place and plan on making this an annual trip!

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is as described and had everything you needed. Rutendo was always available and had shared clear instructions for check-in with us in advance. The location was also good, if it weren't for the traffic jam to Victoria. This may be due to the many construction sites that are currently taking place. Otherwise, a clear recommendation.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

Beautiful place. Stayed here for the proximity to Olympic national park. Perfect home base for all the hiking. Clean home right on the beach would definitely recommend!

Great clean space tucked away with lots of privacy. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our toddler, would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed every moment in Fred’s house. The ocean view was truly amazing. Communication was easy with prompt and helpful responses from Fred and his team.

What an amazing place to stay while we visited Sooke with my parents. The accommodation is welcoming and spotless. Great amenities and really lovely outside area to relax. The wildlife just tops things off with deer grazing close by and the occasional elk visiting too! Thank you, Darryl for the hospitality!

The Otter Point Farm Cottage was super cute and the surroundings stunning. Sheep and cows roamed the fields and lots of wildlife like deers and birds. Elizabeth was a super host and we felt very welcome and at home. Very close to the beach and great hiking trails all around. Wild mountain food & drink restaurant was over favorite. Lots of local breweries and things to explore.

Excellent stay while attending a local family wedding. Everything clean and comfortable. A bit tricky to find but the instructions to get there are very detailed and easy to follow. Warm muffins on arrival were a nice touch!

Wonderful stay, place is beautiful, clean and cozy. Sophie went out her way to make us feel welcome. 20 min away from downtown Victoria and close to a nice beach.

We had an amazing stay at Marianne’s place in the woods with a beautiful ocean view. The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Marianne was incredibly helpful and responsive to all my questions. Definitely planning to come back in the future!

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

The house and its setting are stunning. Set apart from any other houses, it is so serene with an incredible view. Rachel has spared no expense in amenities. The decor is beautiful and tasteful. The beds were supremely comfortable with 5 star quality hotel bedding. Big, soft, luxurious towels too! The home is well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the nice selection of games. We all wished we were staying more than 1 night!

Had a lovely weekend with some friends and this was the perfect place. Sized well for 4-5 adults, with a lovely kitchen for cooking and a giant deck overlooking the beach, which is secluded and expensive. The host was lovely and very responsive, and we had an incredible time. I cannot wait to come back again!

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.
