Holiday rentals with a patio in Sooke

Ryan’s place was great! Felt like staying in a tiny home. Everything was laid out nicely and was functional. He graciously offered us to hang out in the property and it was very beautiful. He was also responsive and very accommodating. Would recommend! However it would not be a good space to stay if you have mobility problems (accessing the loft area). For us it worked out great!

We loved this place. The view of cowichan bay and the marina are spectacular and cowichan bay in itself may be the cutest place we’ve ever been. Lots of great restaurants nearby and great for just strolling around. Astrid made an earlier check in possible which was great and the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home! Highly recommend

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

Nina has a beautiful and peaceful space! It‘s easy accessible with the car. Everything you need is there and she was even flexible with the checkout time. We would recommend and come back anytime.

The place was very well maintained and stocked up on necessities. Jordan was quite active and responsive in answering a questions we had. The neighborhood is very peaceful and well connected with the city. We had a great time and definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway.

Kathy was an amazing host and her place is the perfect stay. We received the warmest welcome and had everything we needed in her well-appointed space. Kathy had excellent trail recommendations too. We'd love to go back.

Despite looking at the pics online, the first thing we experienced when we walked in was a collective breath in, and an "ooooh" out. What an eccentric, quirky, charming home, full of personality - bright green plants lining the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, everything from a really tall cactus to banana(!) to flowering hibiscus. A hobbit shed in one corner competing for attention with daffodils on the roof(!). Amazing photos lining the walls, art from around the world, live edge kitchen counter, differently sized logs of wood acting as window panes, a wall-to-wall stack of old national geographic magazines. All of this, of course, paled in comparison to the view from the window, of sailboats docked in a cove, bounded by evergreens around, and a gentle lapping orange sky below. Absolutely perfect place to relax with a coffee mug and a book. The hiking was great too, we hiked some evergreen rainforest and a couple of beaches. And a 30min drive to Victoria. We loved it!

We loved our stay at coastal soul! The place was pristinely clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated having a pack and play and a high chair for our baby. The bed was comfy and bathroom spacious. The neighbourhood was nice and had a coastal vibe. We enjoyed walking down the Whiffin Spit. Host was responsive and friendly. We can’t wait to go back to coastal soul!

Josie was a fantastic host. Flexible, responsive, and helpful in providing local recommendations for an area we were new to. The house and property are beautiful, peaceful, and unique. Can't recommend highly enough!

Excellent stay here! Private everything, no shared spaces except driveway. *note: Driveway is Not flat, it's quite slanted/FYI. Kitchen is GREAT if you like cooking, LOVED gas range/gas oven, only missing a Glass dish for oven/chicken/baking. Plenty of utensils, didn't really cook a ton so can't think of anything 'missing' TERRIFIC laundry on-site, just didn't see it at first, it's behind the closet door in the foyer. Shower/bathroom is Great! Has "rain" shower heads over your head, Handy soap/shampoo/conditioner etc on a corner rack so if you forget to bring, no worries ! Counter space is good. Lighting is good. This space was built into the rear space behind garage and butts up to a rock wall at the bedroom/bathroom. Daylight comes through but the only outdoor view is living room/patio. Patio has table and 4 chairs. Only negative would be the dull thud pitter patter of a 3 yr old running around ;-) very understandable, but mostly between 3pm/4pm and 7pm-ish. Overall, a terrific stay!

This is a true gem and an amazing space to stay in while visiting the West Coast and would stay here again over and over. The outdoor space was well designed for privacy and feels like you’re on your own in the great outdoors to enjoy a campfire and the beautiful outdoor tub was spectacular and such a treat. We loved all the extra amenities and the space was very well designed indoors and felt like home.

We enjoyed every moment in Fred’s house. The ocean view was truly amazing. Communication was easy with prompt and helpful responses from Fred and his team.

What an amazing place to stay while we visited Sooke with my parents. The accommodation is welcoming and spotless. Great amenities and really lovely outside area to relax. The wildlife just tops things off with deer grazing close by and the occasional elk visiting too! Thank you, Darryl for the hospitality!

Port Renfrew is a great place to take the family. Halibut Hideaway was just as described, clean and well kept. All the amenities we needed were provided and in good shape. One rule about talking garbage to the dump wasn’t known prior to arriving and we found out the local dump where we were instructed to put the garbage was only open until 2pm the prior day. Either do all your cleaning really early or you’ll have to pack a bunch of smelly garbage into your car to comply like we did.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful place for our short stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, its great location, convenient amenities and quiet, private surroundings. This was a great experience overall!

We had a great stay at Fatbardh’s place. It was comfortable and clean and an enjoyable 3 nights. I love the safety and security of the home. It’s close to my favourite sushi restaurant ever. The shoppers drug mart is nearby, too. You will love your stay here!

We loved our stay here. The location is great, we were able to walk to almost everywhere and there were so many great places to eat within walking distance, it was hard to choose! The building is very secure and safe. The bed was so comfortable, I think I slept better there than at home in my own bed. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place with even more beautiful views. Lesley was prompt in her communication and went out of her way to drop off the second fob which we very much appreciated. We will be back!

We loved staying at Kevin's place. The location in downtown was awesome. The views from the deck were stunning and the place was a great size. Kevin was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forward to staying here again.

The space was beautiful inside and out. Very walkable to the wharf and anywhere you want to go downtown. I would definitely stay there again! Our host Tim was very friendly and responsive but honestly there were absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend!

This condo was perfect for our family trip, it was a good size for the four of us and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. What we loved most about the condo was the location and the patio. We walked everywhere during the day and relaxed on the patio in the evenings. Restaurants are everywhere in walking distance with a convenience store below, a restaurant and Starbucks across the street. I’d highly recommend Glenn & Gillian’s place for a comfortable stay & location wise, We will be back!
