Holiday rentals with a kayak in Sor-Trondelag

The old post office was a unique accommodation and had everything you need for a family on a trip! Very easy and flexible arrival with lockbox, good communication with host and warm welcome with greeting and chocolate when we locked ourselves in! The house was in itself unique and historic! Really appreciated the book about Veiholmen with lovely photos and history of the island weather. It had well equipped kitchen, spacious and practical bedrooms with butt waiters and dressers for clothes. Very nice and atmospheric with large dining table overlooking the harbor and water, spent a lot of time at the table! Veiholmen was an experience with the sun, the weather and the wind! Possibility for morning bath in the sea with 2 minutes from the house to the harbor. We got such good service with preparation/ borrowing of kayaks and SUPs that we unfortunately didn't get to use. The host refunded the amount of rent, which was perceived as very generous and absolutely not necessary! Highly recommend the house and Veiholmen! Would love to come back💚🌊

I love this renovated chapel. I was here last year as well. Atmosphere, good space, reasonable price, everything you need for beautiful Smøla right outside the door. For someone who loves sunrise and sunset and nature and photography and peace and quiet, it is perfect. Thank you. 🌞💚

Amazing and quiet location! We were 7 people and the house worked perfectly for us. Close to the house there are very nice hiking trails up the mountain with miles of views. There was also good fishing from shore nearby. We're super happy!

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

A lovely place to enjoy tranquility and the outdoors. A cozy and practical house with everything we needed to have a good time. The coastal path that runs close by is a nice hiking opportunity. Warm recommendation :-)

wonderfull cabin in gorgeous surroundings, great host with lots of tips. We loved the nature, this time of year a winter wonderland with aurora sightings three nights in a row. The beds were really nice and comfortable and the cabin is really cozy!

Fabulous stay in the woods with reindeers outside the window in the morning. the cabin had everything we needed, loved the addition of a back up fridge and flasks for hot beverages on our hikes. Perfect spot to get away. Heats up very fast with a large stove and retains the heat well. Very cosy and warm. Will definitely return.

The cabin is beautiful, lovely and functionally decorated. The view is better than the pictures and captures the fjord landscape well! Jacuzzi, ice bath and sauna in a place like this is the perfect combination with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely fireplace, just what you were looking for! At least we'll be here again!

Modern and very nice cabin! Well equipped. Great view of the fjord and very good sun conditions. Spacious outdoor areas with terrace and lawn. Short way down to the sea. We were very pleased with both the cabin, the location and the hospitality. Recommended!

What an amazing place! Directly on the edge of the fjord, great fishing and whales swimming by every morning. The house is very comfortable with a great fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. 100% recommended.

We are very pleased with the house and the boathouse. The outdoor spaces were absolutely perfect in the beautiful weather we were so lucky to have.

The property was so gorgeous and relaxing and exactly as pictured. Amazing amenities so there was plenty to do and incredible location on a stunning fjord. The host had great communication and proactively shared great hikes in the area. Definitely recommend 🤩
