Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchman’s Bay is right outside your window. With spectacular 180° views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mount Desert Island, this cottage is the perfect place to experience the best of coastal Maine. Located in the well-known community of Hancock Point, you’ll enjoy easy access to Acadia National Park and nearby attractions—all while soaking in a peaceful, quiet, and scenic setting. Spend your days hiking, biking, sailing, or kayaking—or simply relax and take in the ever-changing ocean views. The cottage features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, with two large sliding glass doors that look directly out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove with microwave, Keurig, double sink, and ample counter space. You’ll also find plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, and a gas grill for outdoor meals. The primary bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed, generous closet space, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes two twin beds (a daybed with a trundle), suitable for both children and adults. Linens are provided. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TVs with Blu-ray and a window A/C unit if needed. An outdoor shower with hot water has also been recently added—perfect after a day at the beach. Please note: This is a non-smoking property. Due to a rock wall with approximately a 10-foot drop, the cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children. ‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Little Lodge - Centrally located in Downeast Maine

Great family vacation base for a Downeast Maine Adventure. Two story, newly renovated, four season cabin with 1000 square feet of living space sits in a wooded cove off an easily-accessible rural paved road. Centrally located between the two units of Acadia National Park (Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula) and the beautiful, quiet lakes and mountains of the Donnell Pond Maine State Preserve. Although not on the water, there is access to our private Taunton Bay shore, 3.5 miles away.

Flower Farm Loft

When you arrive at the Flower Farm Loft you're greeted by our dogs, who will likely jump on you with muddy paws and request fetch and pets. You're immediately surrounded by flowers in our gardens and flower studio. The loft has big east facing windows that look over our farm and surrounding fields. You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Edgewater Cabins #2

Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park (20 min to Schoodic Point and 35 min to Acadia on Mount Desert Island). Boat rides around Frenchman's Bay are available from our dock. There's a 3 night minimum stay in Cabin 2.

Early Riser barn-loft on Organic farm near Acadia

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Mr Teach the roo may crow (early!) chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale. The shower is at the main house, (either indoor or outdoor) and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Woods of Eden, Bar Harbor, Acadia N.P. Moose tent.

Relax, re-charge and enjoy the peace that comes from spending time near the ocean and under the stars. Our tents have all the comforts of home. Linens, towels, bath products and kitchen supplies. Our family owned glampground is just 4 miles from Acadia N.P. This tent has a full bathroom, two comfy queen beds, a long bunk bed, outfitted kitchenette, kitchen table and outside deck. Artsy Tiny House & Cedar Sauna

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Gordon Cottage on Flanders Bay

Relax with the family at this peaceful and private cottage on the shores of Flanders Bay with views of Cadillac Mountain. Enjoy the expansive lawn and shore access for all of your favorite activities. Bring your kayaks and SUPs. You will not tire of watching the wildlife or water views from this oasis. If you can tear yourself away from the splendor outside your door, Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island and the scenic Schoodic Peninsula are just 30 minutes away.

Long Cove Hideaway

Escape the tourist madness of Bar Harbor at your own private tidal cove. Camp with the comforts of home, water, power and Wifi. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.
