Family-friendly holiday rentals in Souda

My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for 5 days and were very please with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Highlighted is the beautiful terrace with Jacuzzi. The location is great. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is quietly located. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Our stay in Chania was wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and the outdoor areas are beautiful. Ioanna was very accessible and friendly.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. From the first moment, we were greeted with kindness, a smile and authentic hospitality. They were always available for whatever we needed, willing to help with joy and good mood. You didn't just feel like a visitor – you felt like a guest! The feeling of warmth and respect they showed us made our stay truly unforgettable. Such service is rare and deserves to be recognized. Beautiful, clean, and very responsive. The stay was as advertised. This home is well maintained, comfortable , and close to everything.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Fantastic Villa for our family party. Spacious, well equipt and with lovely pool and view. There are nice (and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance too). Neighbourhood was peaceful. This was by far my best Airbnb experience ever. I actually had the chance to stay in both of Georgios’ beautiful homes – which is why you might see this review twice – and I truly loved them both. The Airbnbs are nestled in a lush garden full of peacocks, lovely dogs, cats and birds – it honestly feels like a little piece of paradise. It’s quiet, peaceful and the perfect place to slow down and recharge. Georgios told me he built the houses himself, and you can feel the love and care in every little detail. The architecture is unique and full of character – it’s a truly magical spot. Georgios and his wife are wonderful hosts: warm, helpful and always available if you need anything, but never intrusive. I’ll definitely be coming back to this special place. Thank you for everything!

We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

We felt very comfortable. The villa has everything you need and inside everything is very well maintained. In the kitchen, there is tea, olive oil and herbs. The terrace and pool are great! The pool is as shown in the last photo. The first two days were very strong winds, then less, but in any case we and our 3 children absolutely enjoyed that the pool was heated. Thank you for that! Below the property is a construction site, which is a pity for the view to one side, but otherwise not really disturbing. Unfortunately, we did not meet Maria personally, but the communication with her was uncomplicated and nice. We definitely recommend the villa.

Four friends and I stayed in this rustic, charming, beautiful and overall homie space for 7 days while we attending a wedding and we all unanimously could not have been more happy! This is a space that you feel so great walking into over and over. I had the best meal of my life with the entire party literally around the corner… maybe 20 steps and we were all in glee. The entire area in old town is gorgeous. You cannot see it any other way. There is a vibe to match your needs somewhere around another corner no matter what you look for on your trip. Shopping was excellent. The feeling of safety was consistent throughout the trip. People are friendly and common throughout the town even throughout the wee morning hours as many places do stay open quite late to always provide an option. I had said by day 1 I knew I would already come back here. Vassilis was a proactive and responsive gentleman in hosting. Truly a pleasure to deal with him and I really do hope to return for vacation. Thanks!

We were immediately received super warmly by the landlord. The accommodation was fantastically beautiful, the sight was hard to describe. The rooms and the complex were very well maintained. The landlord is super nice, but not intrusive at all. We would come back anytime!

Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

Another big thank you to Giorgos and Maria for their hospitality. A very big sandstorm from the Sahara disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, the products available allow us to feel comfortable as soon as we arrive. I can only recommend the Mythic Olive villa 😊

Nektaria and Niko’s’ hospitality is unmatched! They are such lovely and delightful people and made all of our family feel right at home from the moment we met them. The views and home are one of a kind! Such a special place my family will always remember. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting Crete and hope to be back again! :)

We spent 14 wonderful days in Marilena's residence. From the first moment we felt very welcome. Marilena is not only extremely hospitable and friendly, but also very sweet and nice to children. The place was sparkling clean and well cared for. The private swimming pool was an absolute highlight: every morning it was carefully cleaned by Marilena herself. What we also really appreciated was that they came to clean the house in the meantime – of course in consultation. Really top service! You can tell from everything that Marilena does this with love and has an eye for her guests. In short: a fantastic place to stay with a hostess who really makes a difference. We will definitely come back here!
