We went to a wedding at a castle nearby and found Sue’s place close to the venue and town centre. This place is spotless and super family-friendly. Sue prepared all the baby’s essentials, from the cot, high chair, changing station, play mat, and nappies bin! Also, the balcony view is even better in real life when the weather is pleasant. We had a splendid time spending every morning there.

I stayed in Ann's lovely flat for almost a month, and I enjoyed every day! The flat is cosy and very well kept, with lots of amenities, it had everything I needed and more! Ann is a lovely host, very helpful and friendly, quick to reply, and always made sure that I had everything I needed, proactively checking in with me regularly. I couldn't be more grateful! I would definitely stay again and recommend! The location is also great, walking distance to the town centre! Thank you again, Ann (and handyman extraordinaire George!), for making my stay such a pleasant experience! :)

Karen and Michel are excellent hosts and very friendly. They greeted us the day we arrived and had several kitchen staples ready for us upon arrival. If we ever needed anything during our stay they provided it immediately. The condo was immaculate and very conveniently located, just a few steps to the bus stop (easy access to St. Ives and Cambridge). Plenty of room for my wife and I during our one-month stay. Fenstanton is a wonderful little village with a butcher shop, convenience store, The Little Piggy restaurant and The Duchess pub. We highly recommend The Old King Bill if you need accommodations near the St. Ives area.

The apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood. It's very quiet, has nice green zones around for walks and has a Sainsbury's for most needs. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything one might need. The rooms are spacious and the baths are very clean. Overall, great stay.

Thank you Becky for a lovely stay! We absolutely loved the location and everything about the cottage. The cottage was spotless and very cosy/comfortable. Becky was on hand to answer any questions we had and quick to respond. Overall we would highly recommend anyone to come here as the location is perfect, 5 minute walk into the town centre and close to the racecourse/station. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to see the racehorses and the relaxed atmosphere of staying by the stables and horses. Staying on a working stables was an experience we won’t forget. The little touches of artwork and pictures all added to the horse racing experience. Top quality The White Company bedding added to the luxury feeling of the property. Brilliant facilities and amazing shower! We loved our experience here and it made our race weekend! We can’t wait to come back.

I needed a place for several weeks, and this studio was great. It had everything I needed for living independently (kitchen, bathroom, washing mashine, close to a supermarket...), so I felt as in my own place. It was a very peaceful stay, and Emanuela and her family are really kind. I'd definitely stay with them again!

Lovely flat for a longer stay - the listing and pictures are very accurate. We felt right at home after making a quick trip to the nearby Tescos. The entrance is very secure and directions were quite clear. Overlooks a lively suburban intersection and we enjoyed having breakfast while watching all the people each morning. Clothes washer and dishwasher were very handy. Great base for exploring Cambridge and we were grateful for guidebooks and map provided.

This was my second stay at Hinton House, and once again, it exceeded my expectations! The City Stay team provides superb service, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience. The welcome snacks—including bread, jam, cereal, and skimmed milk—were a thoughtful touch. The room was spotless, with high-quality amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. As this was my first ever Airbnb, I didn't know what to expect. My experience of B and B places ( and owners) caused a preference to stay in hotels where an acceptable minimum standard could be taken for granted. However, my stay at The Little Thatch was a very pleasant experience, being on the edge of the village on a small quiet road, surrounded by open countryside. My stay was enhanced by the security and comfort provided by this small flat, particularly the very comfortable mattress provided in the upstairs bedroom which lulled me into a deep sleep. The attentive hosts, Beatrice Louisa and Rob were really helpful and certainly proactive in ensuring that I didn't experience any problems during my stay.

This was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed in Cambridge! The location is perfect — very central, close to the train station and within walking distance to shops and supermarkets, which made everything so convenient, especially with our 4-year-old daughter. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — it truly felt like a five-star hotel with the warmth of home. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered. What made our stay even more special were the hosts, Angeline and Gor. They were extremely kind, friendly, empathetic, helpful, and professional. We felt genuinely cared for. They always responded quickly and were ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm and thoughtful approach made us feel completely at home — even with a young child, we were totally at ease. It’s rare to find such a beautiful home and such wonderful hosts. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cambridge.♥️

Very well located apartment, short walk to the ration with direct trains into London and also a short walk into St Albans high street. The flat was as described and like the photos. Modern clean and had everything needed for the stay. Would recommend.

Well appointed apartment, both bedrooms with en suite. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. We stayed during the school holidays and it was relatively peaceful with only a few people walking past. Street parking was always available outside.

Perfect location, just ten minutes from train station, cathedral and town centre. Cathedral is beautiful definitely worth a visit. Flat had everything you needed 😊. Would highly recommend Indian restaurant - Indian Edge just a 5 minute walk away. Thank you Mirela

Iris’ place was a fabulous base for our stay. We have friends in Hitchin and they commented on what a nice area it was and how immaculate the flat was. Iris was incredibly responsive - we had to wait only minutes at most for responses if we hit a glitch. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a base that’s a little out of the chaos of London, with green fields for a break, you should consider Iris’ place.

Mandy's place was perfect for us. We were visiting Cambridge for a few days with my 1 year old and we had everything we needed. It was a great location for visiting Ely too.

A great apartment overlooking the river and when the sun shone it was great to open the living room doors open to admire the view. Walkable to St Neots (approx 25mins) along the river. Off road parking for 2 vehicles and close to the A1

Sandra was a wonderful host and was very prompt in answering any queries. Her flat was gorgeous and very homey. It was in a quiet area. However would suggest anyone staying there to hv a car to move around as it’s quite a distant to public transportation. If you hv a car then this flat is highly recommended as parking is free and available.

We had a fantastic stay at Ros’s place, it is so peaceful and beautiful with lots of space in the apartment. Ros was really friendly and helpful, with great recommendations of things to do around the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Ros :)

This is one really good Airbnb! In a quiet, small development, the place had everything you might need, with great attention to every detail. Like the USB charging adapters at the bedside, a dusk/dawn nightlight in the hallway, and plenty of useful shelves and lamps. The bedroom had a double bed, surprisingly comfortable, with individual duvets, and a decent wardrobe. A hallstand for coats and bags, and a fine bathroom with modern electric shower beside. It has a well-appointed kitchen/sitting area, with comfortable couch seating. The entire apartment was pristine clean, so nice to see. Parking (private) was literally outside the door, really handy! And, it had many facilities not often included, like washing machine, microwave, lotsstay of storage space, and a hairdryer, and a nice patio seating area outside. A bonus was the decent walk to the old city along the banks of the River Cam, with views of row boats, and nice meadow parks on the way! Can't go wrong here - enjoy your stay!

Wow what a wonderful apartment. We had so much space and it was clean, quiet and charming. Jilly and David couldn’t do enough for us and were very helpful with information about where to shop and eat out. We came mainly for Whipsnade Zoo which is only about ten minutes away and we had a great time. We will be back!
