House holiday rentals in South Carlsbad State Beach

This is one of the most well thought out homes I’ve ever stayed at globally. The home is stunning and so well designed, even more beautiful than the photos. We loved how the pool was next to the master bedroom. This home has everything you need and more. Would love to stay agin!

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Our stay here was incredible!! Craig and Julie were wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and had great communication before and during our trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We felt right at home and hope to make it back here someday!

The place was better than we expected. The place clean and was filled with so much amenities (lots of towels for use and pool use, pool table, video games, etc). We didn’t really have to go anywhere to have fun because of all the amenities. Responses were very quick and the owner was so accommodating to our need. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we are to have another family reunion in San Diego. The place was worth the price.

Amazing experience. Vi’s place was homey beyond expectation. My wife was very impressed with how available everything was especially in the kitchen because we are a family of 6 and always eating out would have not been cost effective. We felt right at home. My wife especially loved the complementary fruits, water, and treats. The kids rooms were packed with toys and books they could read and play with in their spare time which was amazing. The living room was filled with board games for the entire family. The garage also had amazing games for the entire family with foldable chairs and equipment for the beach and camping. There was so much to do in the house that staying in was not in the slightest boring. The entire family enjoyed the pool and the spa and had an amazing time especially on the days we stayed in. I certainly would be booking Vi’s place again anytime we are in San Diego.

Overall fantastic stay! House owner lives on property but the house is secluded just for house guest use. An incident happened where my daughter had an accident during nap time and Kathleen responded quickly and helped us with the change of bedding.

We had a wonderful stay! Host is very responsive. The home is extremely well kept, clean, exactly as described and pictured in the photos! Very comfortable and they provided a pack n play and booster seat for our baby. Lovely backyard. The home is located in a nice neighborhood and nearby a grocery store & some restaurants. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful Air B&B. We came to stay for memorial day weekend, and take our kids to the zoo and wild animal park. The location was gorgeous, it was clean and cozy, perfect for our little family. Michael was extremely responsive and nice. The pool, the view, the comfortable bed, I can't say enough about this place. As much as we like to stay at new places each time we travel - next time we make our way out towards San Diego, we would love to stay at Michael's place again. 10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Dries & Alex’s stay. Great communication, very comfy home, relaxation by the pool in the sun. They went above and beyond to bring a kitchen appliance to our door, wasn’t necessary but greatly appreciated.

The Farmhouse was perfect for our stay and needs. The hosts were very responsive and proactive. Would definitely stay again.

The house is so comfortable. There are lots of places to relax and visit in and outside the home. The kitchen has wonderful natural light. The overall house is stocked well with amenities. 10/10 place to stay.

This is our second time staying at this place. We will keep coming back! Very clean and in a quiet, private location on a quiet street. Beach is not very far away, and I love that I can actually park in the garage. The place is brand new and beautiful inside and the grand piano is a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone.

Kellys place was just as described; super loaded with things to do, games of every kind, ping pong in the garage ( a blast) a firepit and life-size chessboard in the backyard ( we played) and in walking distance of VONS grocery and a nice shopping center (a few of us walked there). The bedding was super comfy and I LOVE the plantation shutters which showcase the beautiful surroundings. I also want to thank Kelly for being so helpful. I reached out a few days before our check-in and asked if she had a cofee grinder (they have both a kuerig and regular coffee pot) and she said she thought they did, but if they didn't, she''d buy one. And It was there upon check-in. :-) The BEST! We highly recommend, miss it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and hosts were had good communication. Parking was readily available out front and check in and out was very easy.

House was cute, comfy, & quaint. We felt right at home & you can’t beat the view and patio space. Wish the chimnea was not cracked so we could safely use it, but overall we did not want to leave & that’s all that matters. The surrounding town gave a small town Oceanside vibe with lots of fun & shopping to do. Can’t wait to return to Encinitas someday. Service from host was lovely and very responsive. They really considered everything before and while we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Staying at Fortuna Farm Ranch was truly a magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by stunning views of rolling hills, lush greenery, and the calming sounds of nature all around us. He brought us the most delicious fresh fruits grown right on his farm—. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and grounded in nature, but Fortuna Farm Ranch does exactly that. Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect, or just soak in some beautiful scenery, this place is a hidden gem in Encinitas. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

What a wonderful stay! Natalie was so friendly and proactive, which made us feel welcome before we even arrived. It's rare to find a place that is even better than the photos, but this was it. The entire home was immaculate, and we loved the artistic touches that made the space feel so warm and unique. We all slept so well—the beds are incredibly comfortable. It truly felt less like a rental and more like we were staying at the home of a friend with impeccable taste. And a special shout-out to your two pugs—though we never formally met them, their charming, invisible presence made for the perfect, quietest roommates and really completed the "at-home" feeling! The peaceful neighborhood and seamless process, from check-in to checkout, allowed us to truly relax. It's an ideal spot for a solo traveler or a small family of 3-4. This house was amazing. We had 2 homes combined into one which was perfect fit for our family with kids. The house was very spacious and relaxing. The pool and hot tub was amazing the entire pool area had a such a peace and tranquility. All i can say you would not be disappointed staying at this house. The host Travis was incredible and very responsive. We definitely stay here again.

Had the BEST time at chestnut by the Sea. The house is so well thought out the beds are incredibly comfortable, everything is exactly like the pics. We used every space and felt right at home. Having the sauna and hot tub makes you feel like you’re at a resort. Also the out door kitchen and fire pit were a perfect place to hang at sunset into the evening. This was a girls trip, but I would absolutely go back with my family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
