Holiday rentals with lake access in South Goa

Stay was comfortable. Host was very responsive 1. arranged water can on request 2. cleaned house when we extended our stay 3. prepared house as given in listing the place 1. peaceful green surroundings 2. we had a car so was easy to get around accessibility there are uneven surfaces and steps in entry so young kids and those with accessibility requirements should consider this when booking.

We 5 friends had a great time in the 5 bedroom villa. The location is superb, very much out of the urban City and far from beaches, but alongside a beautiful river. It's perched on a hillock with a lovely view of the river. We could see Mopa airport in the distance from the villa. There's dense vegetation beside the property and we could hear peacock sounds, though not fortunate to see one. Lots of birds around the property. Though the food was not Goan in taste, it was good and the service was good too. This property is away from the main market and may not be suitable for couples but would be great for a large family or group of friends. Though we were 5 of us, we had a great time.

I stayed at Robert’s house for three days with my parents, and I must say the place is quite spacious and absolutely clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, and there’s a gas cylinder in case you want to make a simple breakfast or some tea/coffee. Both rooms have air conditioning, which was a big plus. The location is fantastic—just a 2–3 minute walk from Ashwem Beach. There’s a supermarket, coffee shops, a wine shop, and multiple restaurants nearby, including beachside shacks. The beach itself is super clean and peaceful. Mandrem and Morjim beaches are also close by, though having a vehicle makes getting around much easier. Robert is an amazing host. He helped with everything—from receiving us to assisting with booking a self-drive car. He was always available on call whenever we needed anything. Just very helpful overall. Would definitely love to visit again!

A nice place to stay for vacation. Rooms are with balcony and good storage space. Kitchen essentials and appliances are ready to use. Overall it was a great experience. Thanks Host.

The highlight of the place is undoubtedly the beautiful backwaters view, which creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. Host Elton's property is located in South Goa. It's a newly constructed independent bungalow and easily accessible by road. It's slightly interior with a nice neighborhood as well. Property is fully furnished with Three Spacious bedrooms, Attached Bathrooms and also a nice balcony facing the paddy fields/ lake.All the attached bathrooms have hot water facilitythroughout. Living room is also quite big enough to accommodate a group of 6. Kitchen is semi furnished with utensils, gas stove, microwave, crockery sets. There's a very nice sit out area that adds to the beauty of the property. Two Cars can be easily parked inside the property. Overall, it's definitely worth staying in this property. Mr Elton was really helpful right from the time of booking the property till we vacated.. Our 3 day stay in the property seemed like we spent a few hours. It was very memorable as it was my Dad's FIRST VISIT TO GOA. He really loved the hospitality of the host and has plans of visiting again

Sharvil was an exceptionally responsive and generous host, and Masud—our friendly caretaker—made the best poha in all of India, delighting our kids with his kindness. Booking taxis via GoaMiles was effortless, and Zomato drivers had no trouble finding us. This luxurious, serene escape is perfect for families or groups seeking comfort and convenience. Hey Everyone, If you are looking for budget friendly, clean and relaxing stay, go book Alex Marie Guest house without thinking twice. It is a truly amazing stay, with all amenities which you won't get at any hotel. You can even cook your own food. The stay is situated near candolium market and beach. Patricia the owner is very kind and understanding. Thank you dear for making our stay hassle free.

Place is good size for single traveler. I ate out every meal, so the minimal kitchen did not affect me. If coffee is important to you as it is to me, the Clockman Coffee that appears down the road is not a cafe and the closest place was Maverick which was a 25 minute walk. The studio was well supplied with sachets of Nescafé which were a welcome start to the day until I found Maverick which I found worth the trek. The studio was easy to find, with a 24-hour doorman who were very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony was nice, overlooking the lake toward Baga. Daily turndown service was efficient and professional. This studio was a comfortable respite from my busy itinerary in Goa. A/C efficiently cooled the space. I would recommend as a space off the busy corridors of Baga, Calengute, and Anjuna beaches, but within easy reach. There is a stand across the street from the Marinah that has taxis and scooters for hire. They were easy and fair with me.

I had a wonderful stay! The home is located in a calm and quiet area, perfect for relaxing. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated having access to the terrace – it was a great spot to unwind. The host was very supportive and responsive, making the experience smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Flexible stay as we wanted it to be. Good place for people having a train to catch from Karmali station, just 600m to walk. Thanks to the host for being responsive and helpful.

Just had a month long stay with my family at Rohini's place and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment is located in a small society which is very peaceful and surrounded with greenery. Local market is nearby so we had no trouble at all with things that we needed to buy. The apartment is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Very neat & clean and very organised. We had a very pleasant stay and had no problems at all during our stay here, thanks to the amazing host, Rohini. She was very helpful, always available and responsive to any questions or issues that we had. We did not even have to go out looking for bike renting as she agreed to rent her activa to us and that too at a great price as compared to outside. She also helped us in booking cab to the airport for our return. If you're planning a trip to south Goa, I would highly recommend Rohini's place.

Vinod really is a superhost. He lives just on the floor above and genuinely cares about his guests. Pooja and Vinod's home is lovely and they have decorated it tastefully.

This place is gem of a find for anyone who's looking for some peace and quiet. There's this balcony overlooking a lake, and it's priceless. This place felt like a private island for us in Goa! The host, Wilfred was kind enough to suggest some local recommendations as well. Our Goa trip was enhanced because of this little lullaby of a cottage.

The place is right at the beach and near some of the finest hotels in Goa. The compound has multiple small other cottages which keeps the goa vibe alibe along with peaceful nature of south goa. the place is apt for 4-5 people and extremely clean and beautiful, surrounded by 2 pools and beautiful common area. Sophie as a host is perfect, communicates effectively and provides insights whenever you ask for help. she is very flexibtand friendly. this will definitely not be the last time i have been to her listing.

Gerson was a really good host. Very helpful, cooperative and very friendly. He also guided us to a lot of places. The place is really nice and cozy. We had a lovely stay of 4 nights and 5 days. It has lots of greenery and the mornings look beautiful. It is very near to the Palolem beach. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you can order food from outside. The manager and the other staffs are very friendly and helpful. The ambience is very calm and serene. There is a good shopping lane outside the hotel, Palolem Beach is one of the best beaches in South Goa.
