Holiday rentals with a fireplace in South Holland

Wir wurde sehr herzlich von Karin und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch der Kontakt während unseres Aufenthaltes dort war sehr angenehm! Vielen Dank! Die beiden waren sehr flexibel mit den check-in/check-out Zeiten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man kann tolle Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen.Durch die schönen Blumenfelder zu radeln war traumhaft! Auch die Ausflüge zum Strand/Meer kann man gut mit dem Rad machen. Dort hat es tolle Beach Clubs mit leckerem Essen. Auch das nahe gelegene Städtchen Leiden lohnt es zu besuchen. So wie Delft, Haarlem oder Utrecht. Alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Een huisje zoals op de foto’s, op een rustige plek met zicht op een haventje en aan de overkant daarvan de Grote Kerk. Na parkeren bij P het Energiehuis gingen we met de Waterbus van de Merwedekade naar de Hooikade, een mooiere aankomst is niet denkbaar in deze stad aan het water. Het huis vonden we heel fijn, mooie keuken met een goede koffiemachine voor vers gemalen koffie. Badkamer en slaapkamer uitstekend. Hanno was attent in de communicatie, niet voor niets superhost. Dordrecht vonden we een prachtige stad, heel leuk om met ‘Drijf’ een rondvaart te doen. We bedanken Hanno!

Wir hatten in der Unterkunft einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Es hat uns richtig gut gefallen!

The house is an historical Dutch house, direct on a canal- absolutely quiet, charming neighborhood with chickens next door and a wonderful bakery right around the corner. The kitchen is on the ground floor, an elegant living- and dining room on the first floor with hardwood floors. Then VERY steep stairs (not for the weak of heart, small children or people with knee problems) going up to the 2nd floor with a big master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds (not really good for us, a group of five 68-72 yr old women) and a nice bathroom with plenty of room. The top floor had a „double“ bed, but too narrow for two of us, and a small bath. I think 6 adults would be a tight squeeze in the house unless they‘re all young and cozy with each other. Schidam is a charming suburb of R‘damm, where we never would have gone if we hadn’t booked the house there. All in all, a WONDERFUL house and well worth the extra travel to and from R‘damm.

We loved the house and gardens. It was a real pleasure to stay in such a lovely home. Everything we needed was there, and the area was beautiful. Hermanus was the perfect host - encouraging and helpful, but allowing us our own space. We particularly enjoyed the welcome bottle of red, and the fresh eggs Hermanus brought for us on several occasions. It's hard to imagine how our holiday in Oudewater could have been improved - one of the very best accommodations we've had.

Ilse's house, a former stable that has been renovated with top-notch fixtures and with great taste, is exactly as advertised - a peaceful haven in bucolic surroundings within close proximity to the picturesque city of Leiden. We had a wonderful time unwinding and enjoying quiet evenings with homemade meals thanks to the well-equipped, luxuriously huge kitchen. Perfect location as a jumping-off point to explore the area, including the beautiful tulips at Keukenhof. Highly recommend and already dreaming of coming back. Ilse and Diederik were incredibly friendly and responsive and made us feel welcome while not infringing on our privacy. Perfect hosts.

Really fantastic and peaceful house. I fully recommend it. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and it has everything. Two rooms one with king bed and the other room with two separate beds. One bathroom upstairs and toilet downstairs. Great kitchen with all appliances. I will definitely come back. Many thanks to Koos and his family they presented a wonderful welcome pack chocolate and fruit juice. Many thanks 🙏🏻

Wat een geweldige plek, mooi huisje en een fantastische gastvrouw! Ik en mijn kinderen hebben ervan genoten. Marian maakte er echt een feestje van voor ons. Natuurlijk waren de paarden ook een hoogtepunt! Het huisje is zo mooi ingericht, met veel zorg en liefde gedaan en heerlijk zorg. Het is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. We komen zeker nog een keer terug. Bedankt voor alles 🙏🏼

This felt like a perfect cozy home. Has everything you need and extremely well thought out and intuitive. Staying in this home feels like sharing a slice of life. We had just the best experience. Parking: 10/10 Neighborhood: 10/10 The home is comfy and is designed to make you go "ahhhh.. so nice". I would wish for everyone to experience such a lovely stay as we did.

Luba was a very communicative and friendly host. The flat was absolutely beautiful—probably the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus – es war sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Überall schöne Deko, frische Blumen – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Für unsere Kinder war es ein Paradies: tolle Spielsachen, eine Verkleidungskiste, Bastelmaterial – sie waren stundenlang beschäftigt und überglücklich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Strand. Die Gastgeberin Anne war sehr freundlich, der Empfang durch Ruub herzlich und sympathisch – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia en este Airbnb. Todo estaba tal como se muestra en las fotos: limpio, ordenado y muy acogedor. La ubicación es muy conveniente, a unos 15 minutos caminando del metro y con varios supermercados cerca. Los anfitriones fueron súper amables y comprensivos, hicieron todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y se ajustara a nuestras circustancias. Nos sentimos realmente bienvenidos, con acceso libre a todos los espacios de la casa, incluyendo juegos de mesa que disfrutamos bastante. También fueron muy flexibles con los horarios de llegada y salida, lo cual agradecimis bastante. Sin duda, lo recomendaría y volvería a hospedarme aquí. ¡Gracias por todo Cathy y John!

Het verblijf had alles wat we nodig hadden voor ons weekendje in Zeeland. Alles was tiptop in orde, met oog voor detail: frisse lakens, vloeibare zepen, en alle basisbenodigdheden in de keuken waren voorzien. Maar vooral: de woning was werkelijk kraaknet — een plezier om in aan te komen! Onze kinderen (14 en 16) zijn inmiddels wat groot voor het park zelf, maar in de omgeving is er meer dan genoeg te beleven. Het appartement is dan ook ideaal voor gezinnen met jongere kinderen, die zeker hun gading zullen vinden in de faciliteiten en de ligging.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Bellatrix, und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und gibt gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Nähe zur Stadt sowie die kurze Distanz zum Strand sind hervorragend.

Super verblijf hier gehad. Woning kwam volledig overeen met de advertentie. Quirine is super vriendelijk en was snel bereikbaar als we een vraag hadden. Omgeving is rustig, maar toch dicht bij een speelpleintje, verschillende winkels, restaurants,.... zeker een aanrader

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Gut gefallen hat uns der private Garten und der offene geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnbereich. Natürlich war die Katze Poppy das Highlight für unsere Kinder. Poppy ist eine freundliche und pflegeleichte Katze. Die Anbindung an den Strand ist wie beschrieben wirklich super und schnell erreichbar. Ebenfalls gibt es viele Möglichkeiten Unternehmungen und Ausflüge zu machen. Es gab stets einen freundlichen und schnellen Austausch mit den Gastgebern. Es war sehr schön.

Wir haben uns in Wendys Haus super wohl gefühlt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt . Alles war sehr gepflegt und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Super Lage. Der Aussenbereich mit tollem , eingezäunten Garten …..für unseren Hund einfach toll…..auch für uns:-) Danke an Wendy und Dennis für die superschnelle und freundliche Kommunikation und Flexibilität.

Perfect stay! A beautiful villa, very well equipped and maintained. Beautiful design, luxury amenities, attention to details and all in all a wonderful stay. Jolanda was super responsive and very kind. Highly recommended!

It was such a pleasure and privilege to stay at this home. The house is worthy of museum status — a gem of art nouveau glass and tiles. But it also features a fantastic modern kitchen, great WiFi, and comfortable beds. In other words, the best of both historic and modern. The location is perfect, with steps-away access to transit, groceries, dining, and more. Adjacent to a canal, the site is also a natural haven, filled with nighttime sounds and daytime bird life. We were treated to a goose family with multiple goslings for part of our stay! Washer/dryer are great, as was the tv and other appliances. And finally, the decor is stylish and interesting….perfectly themed for those interested in travel. Having stayed at nearly 100 Airbnbs, this was one of our all-time favorites.

Toll Unterkunft, tolle Umgebung top Lage. Kann ich für den Urlaub nur empfehlen

Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist sehr idyllisch, kein Autoverkehr (ein kleiner Bollerwagen zum Gepäcktransport steht zur Verfügung und ist auch sinnvoll), direkter Zugang zum Wasser inkl. Steg und SUP und gelegentlicher Fluglärm tagsüber vom nahegelegenen Flughafen Schiphol fällt nicht allzu sehr ins Gewicht. Gleichwohl bedarf der Zustand der Küche eines kleinen Upgrades (Fußleisten usw.) und die Fenster könnten mal ausgiebig gereinigt werden. Jan hat schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert.

Wij hebben van begin tot einde genoten, wat een prachtige locatie! Zowel het huis zelf heeft heel veel charme en de tuin is een pareltje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig om er een zorgeloze vakantie van te maken. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.
