Beachfront holiday rental in South India

A beautiful space in an exceptional location. Jharna and Rohan live the sustainable lifestyle and the place reflects the same. They and the team was very warm and helpful and did everything possible to make the stay comfortable. Instructions were / communication was clear and non intrusive giving us a lot of space for chats and catching up. The beautiful coconut grove, sound of the waves, the distant horizon - it's a five star place, just an hour away from Mumbai. Food was fresh, flavourful, well-made and served with love, but being within the sustainable farm-to-table practice makes the menu limited. The surrounds / village has a peace and calm - no activities as such - the property is so good that one may not feel like stepping out. Overall, had a great time with friends. A highly recommended offline recharge.

Siddesh, his team and Clemente are amazing people! Everything I read about the property is 100% true. The food is amazing. The stay is at an untouched location. They were generous to set up a candle night dinner at the beach. We are extremely happy and would recommend it to everyone!

Highly recommend this stay! Our group stayed here for a wedding, and the location was perfect—less than a five-minute drive to the venue. While the entrance is unmarked and can be initially confusing to find, Google Maps guides you accurately. The space matched the photos—clean, with a beautiful pool (perfect for late night swims), property, house, and private beach. The kitchen, living areas, and bedrooms were spotless. The food was outstanding. Breakfast is included, while lunch, dinner, and snacks are affordable à la carte options. Chef Sendhil and his team were incredibly responsive to last-minute requests, from midday samosas to coffee/chai refills. The quality rivaled my mom’s homemade South Indian cooking and truly elevated our experience. The service was exceptional. Whether we needed bug spray or a new WiFi dongle for faster internet, Rekha and Teja responded quickly and efficiently, exceeding our expectations. The staff cleaned our rooms quickly but thoroughly.

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

loved it. my family enjoyed the location and we were using the sea infront like a private swimming pool. it is in between a proper fishing village. at first sight we were bit scared of the people around and the village setup. tured out we were wrong, the locals were very friendly. we met handle of fishermen doing their work, while we were enjoying the beach. they should us the fresh catch, they infact invited us for food. the hosts were really helpful, was always there for any support.

The place was just wow , the scenic beach views were so perfect , the sundowner , the morning rise and the , night star gazing all were just amazing , the care taker was so humble and helpful always ready to do things for you , must recommend property for people who love beach and ocean with calm vibes

My husband and I had a great vacation in Rohit’s place to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were very attentive and the host was always a message away. From the pickup at the airport which was organized by the host to the warm and attentive staff and delicious egg curry. We really wished we had more time here . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here . Your beautiful home was like a warm embrace nestled in the middle of all that bustle .

The place matched the exact description. the view was amazing. sleeping to the waves crashing just below the building is another level. the infinity pool and gym was beautiful. Joseph was kind and friendly. responsive host that had the house well setup for us. comfortable stay for 3.

Myself and 8 friends had a fantastic stay during our time in Candolim. The receptionist staff were so helpful in recommendations and taxi organisation and the cleaning staff kept the villa incredibly clean. The villa was beautiful with stunning decor, it was clean and the amenities were great. Highly recommend for both friends or families! The villa is also located in a private complex which is very safe, it is a short trip from several beaches and local restaurants and bars. Couldn’t recommend more!

In this destination, we spent a few days in the off-season, the private beach belonging to the hotel was completely empty, the pool was very clean and refreshing, the room is clean, air conditioned overlooking the sea. The host even allowed us to check out later, which we greatly appreciated. We rate the stay at this resort very positively, we would definitely come back. Thank you

This place is amazing. You have the Sal river in the backyard and the beach is 10 mins walk! The place is well taken care of and is very peaceful. The community pool is a minute away and is a great addition to spend some relaxing time. Basappa is very responsive and is a pleasure to communicate with. He always wants to ensure the guests are well taken care of. We will definitely visit again!

It was a great place and great stay for us during our recent trip. Penthouse looked as in the listing and was clean. All rooms were very spacious and had thoughtful interiors. Location is very near to the beach and also near to very wide roads. Parking was available. All facilities inside the flat was very good. There was a big pool but we did not use it. Check-in & check-out were smooth. Kyle was very responsive and friendly. He had given some suggestions for food and shopping. Overall, me/ family enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend this place.

It was a really nice property. Pragati was a great host and was very responsive. She also allowed accepted our request for early check-in and suggested nice local eateries. Highly recommended

Upul's property is beautiful. The caretaker was very thorough with her job and made sure we were comfortable, She even arranged a local tuk tuk for a dinner visit to town. It's a bit further off from the main touristy centre, but if you are seeking a quiet, beautiful retreat, this is great, and proximity to the airport makes it a perfect 1st or last stop from Colombo.

It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer since Martin’a place was a delight - the location, pool, and rooms were exactly what we wanted and his team provided incredible service and delicious meals. We would return in a heartbeat - thank you!

the location is breathtaking the property was very clean and aesthetic . the owners are very responsive and helpfull. overall it was a great stay.

This place is excellent for those looking out for a sundowner experience, a villa on a hillock. the interiors were beautiful. You need to connect with the caretaker at least two days in advance if you have any specific food requirements as this place is far from the market area. The villa exterior looks very old , I think for the price paid this should be taken care of. we loved the gazebo area which is the best place just to sit and lie down on the charpai (beadstead/cot) , and enjoy the sea breeze in the afternoon, followed by sunset. The caretaker was very good and ensured amazing food service, simple, yet very tasty, they gave us both konkan and Rajasthani cuisine. Overall a great place with minor things to be taken care of by the host.

En Vilasam - a place which made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. Ashish and the team were very helpful and friendly in organising the stay. The staff at the villa were very sweet to accommodate our requests. My furry baby was a awesome time running in the garden , beach and watching the fishes in the koi pond. Definitely recommend for people who are looking for an offbeat location and stay.

The place is exactly like it has been shown in the images and I would say much better. Alongside beach, the stay is at perfect location with perfect views and amenities.

Beautiful house with two bedrooms. One bedroom can accommodate 2 people and the one on the first floor has 2 master beds that could accommodate 4 or 6 people. House is beautifully decorated and maintained well. Caretaker Padma was a nice lady who made coffee for us and was helpful. Quiet surroundings with absolutely no disturbances. Good restaurants near by and they also deliver food. Drawing room was beautiful. Overall everything was good. Just there is a bit of mosquitoes in the lawn and they also get inside if the doors are left open or opened and closed often. Found it difficult to sleep in the ground floor bedroom due to mosquito bites. Take odomos or any mosquito repellent with you. Only thing the place lacks is a swimming pool, but the beauty of the house compensates for that. Beach is like 5 minutes walk. Overall super happy with the place and planning to there again soon.

Large property in nature by the beach (very beautiful). Tree garden with a large pool. Air conditioning in bedrooms but not in living spaces (fan). Very nice caretaker. There is a kennel with two adorable dogs. Great showers. No cook but a supermarket a few kilometers away as well as surf breaks. The only downside is the smell of the cow enclosure next to the kennel can be unpleasant at certain times of the day.

Where do I even begin! This penthouse was the best part of our Mangalore trip. We were 4 girls and felt completely safe and taken care of and blown away by the beauty of the space. The location is unreal, right on the beach. You can hear the waves, feel the breeze, and just be. The house is super clean, spacious, and has everything you need. The deck deserves a special mention, it’s massive, peaceful, and perfect for lounging, reading, sipping tea, or just watching the ocean for hours. Honestly, you don’t need to leave the property to have a good time. It’s a destination in itself. Special shoutout to Mr. Jayram, the caretaker, he went above and beyond, even stepping out in heavy rain to help us. Ask him for food and cab recos, he’s a lifesaver! Honestly, the trip was amazing because of this property. Can’t wait to come back just for this stay.

We had a lovely time at this Mindhun’s place as a family. The house staff took very good care of us and were very kind, attentive and helpful, and the food was lovely. The house is spacious and very clean and suited us well. Host was very helpful and quick to communicate. Only disappointing thing was that we were advised that sea was unsafe to swim in - so we didn’t really get to take advantage of the beach.
