Cottage holiday rentals in South India

it was a great experience and a great cottage to stay at.

I am English staying with young family.. 6 of us a laf minute booking. Much to appreciate from RUPUL as a Barrister at the Bar in Kandy/Colombo and country’s high Courts . I’m a forever returning visitor. The sitting room so stylish and crammed with not just law material! The breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for taking 2nd one with is to sight see early. Just got back from the most peaceful getaway! .The place was tucked away in a stunning backwater setting — calm, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. The view alone is worth the stay! The cottage was super cozy and well-kept, giving off perfect chill vibes. If you’re looking to unplug and recharge, this is definitely the spot. Would totally recommend it to friends and family — a hidden gem for sure!

I have to say that this was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The property is very interesting, green and full of life. The people are even better, Kumari and Wasana made my stay unforgettable. Kumari is a great cook, from breakfast to dinner I was always delighted with everything. And I'm not an easy costumer. Wasana is very kind and made me feel always comfortable, responding ASAP to any request. She even nailed a mosquito net in the roof of the cottage for me! Many thanks to both of you and Mr Neil for always helping me when needed. It's on my plans to comeback one day!

The place is just as shown in the photos. The property is close to all major locations. The host is very accommodating and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this place, which is perfectly suited for families and friends. Pros: The location in Yercaud is serene and beautiful. The accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: Food quality in yercadu not good. Cooking is not allowed on the property, except for boiling milk using an induction stove. If you're planning to cook your own meals, be aware that the host will not permit it as per their policy. The host can provide contacts for home food service, which we didn't try. Instead, we bought food from outside, which was unfortunately not good at all. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, but we suggest the hotel consider allowing cooking on a need-based. Other than the cooking restrictions, everything else was satisfactory.

I booked this for a newly wedded couple for a short stay of 2nights . It’s their feedback . They loved the place, the design , architecture, atmosphere, ambiance and vibes . The bath tub was the highlight . Place is secure and offers great privacy . Serene and beautiful surroundings. Homely feeling with excellent assistance from private the staff as well as both Prabhu and Mukesh. Highly recommended. And hope to revisit for a longer stay . One feedback would be more accessible parking.

we do not go to Senaka by chance the access being remote but very close to Knukles peak. the landscapes are beautiful. Dinner is very good but maybe a bit expensive. Breakfast is super hearty and quality. The person who welcomed us was attentive, tea, small cakes, bananas, even prepared a sandwich for us for our hike. Thanks again for our stay

We had a wonderful stay at Ooty Homestay — a charming spot that feels just like home in the lap of nature. The location is perfect — close enough to town for convenient sightseeing, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, and the beds were especially cozy after a day of exploring Ooty’s beautiful hills. The view from the balcony in the morning, with clouds slowly lifting over the valley, was truly magical.

Meluha Dham is truly a perfect to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, even allowing us to check in early when we arrived in the early morning. They thoughtfully helped us store our luggage with care, making us feel right at home. The stay itself is nestled beautifully amidst nature, offering breathtaking views. We had the most wonderful and memorable time here — a truly beautiful experience that touched our hearts.

Beautiful villa, very well furnished. I stayed with my parents for 2 days The caretaker Poonam cooks lovely, homely meals. We were vegetarian and wanted to eat local Maharashtrian meals okay, which she prepared very well. The prices are very reasonable as well As for the stay, it’ll give you a feeling that you are living an affluent life, and have come to your own weekend home. The vibe of the place is very positive. The mini library collection is one of the best I have seen The WiFi works exceptionally well, and so does the OnePlus Smart TV. There is a woofer equipped speaker as well you can connect to The kitchen has an auto hops based stove and pretty much every utensil you will need for your stay If you are an espresso lover, get your own coffee because there’s a machine as well

The odessey resort was a very comfortable stay with a lot of privacy and a nice neat place without any hassles. The swimming pool was very clean and the facilities were good beds were very comfortable and overall a five star stay

Now, where do I start from. The place is everything as described and lot more...It is easy to lose yourself in the midst of nature...and equally easy to find yourself in this beautiful coffee estate with lush greenery all around. The folks you interact with are even better. Kushi is not a Superhost for nothing...she is omnipresent..you have a request, she is available and in almost all occasions it will be granted...she has a knack of pleasantly surprising you..Ali took really good care of us, was always there for us and served us with delicious food... We had a great time along with our furry baby..she turned into an explorer in the vast open spaces ....An absolute visit..and revisit. It simply rejuvenating !!

A very neatly made place with extraordinary property and beautiful serene views. The place is a little off the main city but has basic amenities nearby. You can have great options of restaurants, stores in 30 mins distance. Amal is very proactive, responsive and super helpful. Cannot think of any negatives

Abhijay is a large airy and bright bungalow with a great view. It feels like how a home should with personal details and some rough edges. There’s plenty of room for a large group and it is a fairly comfortable space. The terraces and rock garden are standouts. The garden is landscaped with a lot of attention to detail and you can comfortably spend a couple of hours discovering its treasures. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, crockery, and tableware. The only issue you might have (as a large group) is the number of washrooms. There are only two, but you know that going in. Overall, we had a great time. Vaijayanti is a warm and communicative host. Highly recommend!

pravin is a very good host.. they treat you like a family guest.. and his father is very sweet

The stay was amazing and the host and his wife was very helpful to us , it was super clean view was pretty amazing you can just spent hours while sitting at the corner . The barbecue grill adds a spark to your late evening celebration. It’s little away from the main city but it’s very safe! If you need any help hosts are available 24*7 . Don’t rethink book it 🌼

Very warm and welcoming hosts. Close to all the places (Beaches, Cafes). Really good homestay in Varkala. Had an amazing, peaceful and relaxing stay.

This place is rightly a ‘Guest Favourite’ Aditya is a great host who will ensure his best that you have a good stay experience. This house is beautiful and surroundings are peaceful. Think lush greenery and peaceful vibe with urban amenities like swimming pool, cycling tracks, badminton courts, etc It comes alive when it rains!

We only stayed one night as part of a tour around Goa but the stay at simrose was very good. The pool is small but I'd say it's just for the kids - the hotel is right by the sea and you're there in 2 mins walk from the bar. Beautiful surroundings, the food in the restaurant is first rate and not expensive, and extensive range of drinks. Try the ginger and honey lemonade it is to die for and you get a massive glass of it! Loved it.

It's a very peaceful stay right next to Vypin Metro, a short walk way from beach.

loved the two days me and my family spent there, Aby uncle was such a good host ,helped us with everything and was very friendly as well! Really good place for a family get away spot! definitely would recommend!

This place is awesome! It's everything shown in the pictures and more! definitely had a great time. Amazing views from the main bedrooms were amazing. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
