We have stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It is easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and effortless. The setting is beautiful, with the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. The bedrooms are upstairs and the common areas are downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, making it easy to agree on things. We spent a weekend here with a group of 12 friends and had an absolutely amazing time in these stunning surroundings. The place is beautifully designed and offers a wide range of activities for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the sauna with its gorgeous scenic view — a perfect way to relax and unwind. We also did yoga on the terrace, made great use of the fully equipped kitchen for group cooking, and had a blast playing yard games outside. This place truly has everything you need for a memorable getaway, whether you’re looking to relax or stay active. Highly recommended!

Wonderful farm setting. It was nice to take a dip in the beach sauna at the end of a long cycling trip. Mummola was nostalgic and in peace, I highly recommend.

Lovely place right by the lake. Great sauna and easy to swim in the lake. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Bed is super comfortable and the views from inside area amazing. Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet location, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. The house is beautifully located in a perfect location. Well and tastefully furnished, right on the beautiful lake. Sauna,boat and billiards are also great. Large supermarket (S-market) is not far away. You have your peace and can also do a lot in the area. Matti is a great,likeable and helpful host!Everything was wonderful and we'd love to come back!

Beautiful, historic house with a lovely courtyard. The trip felt like a refreshing summer vacation, even though my spouse and I were in training for three days. Definitely the best bed of all airbnb beds ever! I have rehabilitated my back and therefore I am demanding in terms of mattresses.

The apartment was very clean and cozy, good location in the center of Puumala. Very good contact with the host, he, among other things, informed in good time the check-in instructions. We're very happy with the stay!

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

Eeva is a fantastic host! The check-in experience was very smooth—Eeva’s brother was already waiting for us at the cottage when we arrived. He explained everything in detail, and we paid the hot tub fee in cash (MobilePay and bank transfer were also available as options). On the first night, we noticed that one of the rooms had a broken radiator. We contacted Eeva, and not only did she apologize, but she also arrived at the cottage with a spare radiator within 30 minutes. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortably accommodates 14 people. Upon checkout, as we were leaving, one of our cars got stuck on the slope due to poor weather conditions. Eeva came to our aid and offered to have her brother bring his tractor to sand the road. Fortunately, we managed to get the car out without needing the sand, but Eeva went above and beyond to ensure we had the help we needed. Overall, it was a great experience with an amazing host. I would happily recommend others to visit.

We’ve stayed here the second time and can only highly recommend it. The location is perfect. Quiet, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding. Everything was clean and well organized. We’ll gladly come back again!

The cottage is like something out of a fairy tale, really beautiful, and the surroundings are admirable. We had a few accidents, but the host's (Jukka's) proactive, understanding, and progressive actions helped resolve things quickly. Warm recommendation!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Quiet location. Clear instructions and the description matched the listing. Clean, comfortably furnished, also the yard is well maintained. We bathed in the sauna and swam during the visit. Communication with the landlord was friendly and helpful and I quickly got a response. Thank you!

This accommodation had a very good price-quality ratio. The destination was easy to find, clean and fully matched the description. The hosts had prepared good instructions both online and separately in writing for the accommodation. Everything went smoothly and the messages were answered quickly. I liked the “dry land cottage”, but the lake was also a couple of Seppo Rädyn pulls away, so you could go swimming. Special mention of good, dry trees, which heated the sauna and water quickly. Otherwise, really nice saunas. I went every day, even though I'm not even a special sauna. I highly recommend this place 😊
