Holiday rentals with beach access in South London

I really enjoyed the view! It feels like there's only you and the magnificent river, it stretches almost to the horizon. From time to time large ships sail by, but it's a quiet and calming place. I stayed there for 5 weeks, and everything was comfortable and convenient: a kitchen with a large oven, a washing machine, a large bathroom. The neighbourhood is super quiet with nice architecture. Supermarkets are on the other side of the railway, but it's not too far away. Trains to London run regularly, I've never waited for them more than 15 minutes.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night on way to Heathrow airport to see friends in Epson. The Barley Mo pub is less than a minute walk and was wonderful for a drink and dinner. The apartment was clean and comfortable and problem free and the host responsive. All good for what we wanted.

Excellent unit. Walkable location, very close to Southwark station. Unfortunately they had the station closed for most of our visit but Waterloo line not too far of a walk.

Brilliant Stay – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a truly wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The property itself was impressively spacious, clean, and maintained — it immediately created a sense of comfort and calm the moment I stepped in. Everything I needed was provided, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was exceptionally responsive and helpful — always just a message away. He made navigating the area incredibly easy, offering clear guidance that helped me find everything from grocery stores with no stress at all. Location-wise, this place couldn’t be more convenient! • Iceland was just a 2-minute walk • Tesco and the High Street about 5 minutes • Bus and train stations just an 8-minute stroll A variety of interesting shops and restaurants were all within a comfortable 6 to 7-minute walk The environment was quiet yet lively — the perfect balance for both relaxing and exploring. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location! It’s very convenient to go to Battersea park and shopping mall. The landlord is very nice and provided something we need so fast.

We stayed five nights at Guray’s apartment during our family trip to London and had a wonderful experience. The Thames River is so beautiful at different times of the day and evening—it was such a pleasure to enjoy!! The apartment is conveniently located near two supermarkets, and there’s also a Waitrose near Canary Wharf Station on the Elizabeth Line. Having a good washing machine and being able to do laundry every day was a big plus—it allowed us to pack light and travel more easily. The only slight downside is that the apartment isn’t very close to a railway station, which might be tricky for families with small children. However, our kids are old enough to walk, so it wasn’t a problem for us. Guray and Haluk were excellent communicators and made sure everything was ready for our stay. They truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely open planned apartment. Was ideal for us as we needed to visit the o2. We got an uber boat across, was perfect! Beds were super comfy and area was lovely and quiet at night.

Elena is an extremely responsive, flexible, and responsible host. I believe it is the best place that you can find in Deptford: the district itself is far away from being posh, but it is within 30 minutes walk from Greenwich, Bermondsey, and Canary Warf. It also has a good connection with the city centre. Local pubs are quite nice and never overcrowded. I was living for a month and was looking for long-term rent, got a lot of assistance from Elena. The flat itself is quite big for London and has 2 kitchens! I can bet you've never seen that anywhere! Definitely, worth the price I paid.

Melanie’s home was a fantastic location within the heart of Twickenham, along with easy access to transportation. We were steps away from incredible restaurants, grocery, and the river. She recommended beautiful walk along the river to Richmond and it was one of our favorite activities there. She also went out of her way to get us wood for the fire pit which we enjoyed late one evening together. Whether you’re single, couple or family, Melanie’s home is a fit for everyone.

From the very first minute on arrival, I knew that I was in good hands. My visit to Kent was for work purposes and I needed a safe, comfortable & warm place to wash, eat and rest. What Lucy & Gary have far exceeded all expectations. The pictures really don’t do it any justice. Upon arrival Gary went through everything with me that anyone would ever need to know and more. The accommodation itself is very comfortable, stylish and modern. For one or two people it is more than spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. I can’t say I’m A constant traveller but in all my years of needing to stay anywhere (for whatever the occasion) I’ve never found a place so immaculate. The address provided coupled with the information from the actual hosts was more than sufficient to find the property, even in the dark! I had a lovely stay at the property! I would stay again for sure. The home is lived in but clean and tidy. I didn't get an opportunity to use the pool as I was there for work but the pool didn't feel heated to me, maybe it was too cold outside. I would stay here again, perhaps when I can rent the entire place too. Seila was lovely and accommodating!

Sanzo was the absolute perfect host. He was so warm soon welcoming, offered advice, local recommendations and so much more. He was available for every question we had and was so flexible! The house was perfectly clean we felt as though no one had set foot in there before! The kitchen was stocked with essentials, food and so much more. I genuinely can’t recommend sanzo himself and his air bnb enough. Such easy access to Wembley stadium which was the purpose of our stay! Thank you again sanzo you couldn’t have done anymore!

We enjoyed our stay here. The flat is a little more aged than you might guess from the listing photos, but it was clean. The kitchen amenities were slightly lacking. The only thing in the cupboard was salt. There were a few things like measuring cups, scissors, and dish sponges that would have been nice to have. However, there were multiple neighborhood markets nearby where we found all the essentials for multiple meals. The location is fantastic. Easy access from Heathrow via the Elizabeth line. There are 4 underground stations within a relatively short walking distance. Tower Bridge is less than 10 minutes away by foot, as are attractions like the Sky Garden and the Gherkin in the City of London. The neighborhood felt safe and was reasonably quiet. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Claudia is a very strict host on her rules but for this reason, appreciated. The home is in an exclusive building in the financial area of London and is not for everyone. The house inside was perfectly tidy and as the listing said, the amenities offered such as the pool and sauna were modern and top-notch. Perfect if you stay for work or to spend an experience in London without feeling the chaos of the city. Thank you Claudia
