The Cabin is set within the grounds of a listed thatched cottage overlooking fields with stunning views of the local countryside and the oldest building in the village. The property is designed for 1 or 2 guests, offering complete privacy, great views and easy walks to the sea and coastline. There is a village shop and excellent pub in Thurlestone (1.5m) and both Kingsbridge (4m) and Salcombe (5 miles) are a 10-15 minute drive away . Kayaks, surf and paddle boards can be rented locally
“The Cabin was a perfect little cosy bolt hole and a great location to explore this beautiful stretch of coastline. Sadly the weather was awful when we were there but that made the place all the more cosy to retreat back to: it was so well insulated that we often didn’t need the radiator on, let alone the log burner! The little kitchen has everything you need to eat in, and there are loads of amazing places within 15 minutes drive to eat out. We will be back in the summer and hope for better weather!”
Retreat to the romantic, self contained, 17th century thatched Linhay in the heart of peaceful South Milton village. Recently refurbished but retaining all its charm and character, the Linhay is an cosy yet stylish, private space to relax and reconnect. Centrally located to all major South Hams attractions , Bantham & South Milton Sands, Thurlestone golf course & Salcombe. Hope Cove’s bars & live music, Kingsbridge shops, supermarkets & nightlife are close.
“Booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday. We had a lovely weekend here at Helen and Shane’s place. It’s a beautiful thatched cottage in lovely surroundings which is between Salcombe and Hope cove. The hosts had kindly left a birthday card on the table when we arrived which was a lovely touch. We walked to hope cove one day which was a stunning walk down a country lane and then around the beautiful coastline starting from Thurlestone bay. The cottage itself felt like a home from home with everything you could need to make your stay very comfortable. The hosts Helen and Shane were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs during our stay. You can see how much effort and thought has been put into the accommodation with lots of lovely touches in the cottage itself and the grounds around. We hope to come back again soon!”
Beautiful 1 bed apartment in the heart of Salcombe with stunning views across the estuary, the apartment benefits from car parking and use of the communal swimming pool and gardens. Please note the swimming pool closes during winter months.
“Georges Apartment is a fantastic little spot for a couple to enjoy everything the stylish and buzzing town of Salcombe has to offer. Situated in the heart of the town it offers fabulous views over the beautiful Salcombe estuary. With restaurants, shops and pubs quite literally on your doorstep, and easy access to the beaches on the other side of the estuary via the ferry, its hard to imagine a better location. In addition the car parking is a huge bonus - parking in Salcombe is difficult and to have an allocated and secure space right at the apartment is great. The apartment itself is perfectly adequate in size for two people and is clean and well equipped. It is worth noting that the layout of the apartment is slightly unconventional with the living and bedroom on one side of a communal corridor and the bathroom and kitchen on the other. We found this to be no issue at all, and will no doubt look to return in the future!”
