A cozy, quaint and comfortable cottage. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Quiet and private with the high tree and ivy covered fences. Ian was great with communication for check in. Back and garden secure for medium and large dogs. The side gate has a large gap on the fence side and our small dogs (8kg) dogs appeared in the front of the cottage while we were unpacking the car. We were able to block the opening with garden chairs. Just be aware and confirm the main entrance gates are securely closed and locked. Will definitely recommend and stay again in future.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

This was my second stay at this lovely house, and it continues to impress. The kitchen is a standout feature—modern, spacious, and well-equipped, making meal preparation a pleasure. The entire home is beautifully maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. Located in a quiet area, it's perfect for a peaceful getaway and super close to Derby, Chesterfield and Nottingham. Robery, the host, is attentive and ensures a seamless experience.

Beryl and her son are wonderful people ,they are super friendly .I loved the apartment it was sparkling clean and fresh smell ,bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you would need is provided .The garden is fabulous and very dog friendly. The area has lots of great walks ,the nature reserves are wonderful. felt very safe and relaxed and cannot wait to return . Thank you so much Beryl ☺️
