Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South Oxfordshire District

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Matthew and Jane's B&B. The location was peaceful with lovely views over the countryside and Matthew and Jane were friendly and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks on arrival which was lovely after a long drive. Making arrangements to arrive was easy with good, clear communication from Jane. Every room was spotless and tidy and the beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, pillows and sheets. Breakfast was delcious and Jane was keen to ensure we all had a breakfast we would enjoy with options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

Joanne was so lovely and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in as we were going to Silverstone that day and she had everything ready for us. Everything was spotless, well-decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were very much appreciative of the great breakfast spread each morning (pastries, toast, fruit, granola - Joanne offered extras if we wanted). Thanks so much for the amazing stay!

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Tom's, our hosts were very friendly, made us feel welcome, we loved the room , the bed was amazingly comfortable, we slept solidly al night. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best we've had, we will definately visit again.

Chris and Andrea are wonderful and very welcoming hosts. The room is spotless and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. Breakfast items are always fresh, and the kitchen, bathroom, and all other essentials were available, making it feel just like home. The neighbourhood is beautiful and surrounded by nature—perfect for peaceful daily walks. The house is directly across from the bus stop to Oxford, making the commute very easy and quick. This place is perfect in every way, and I highly recommend it. Thank you, Chris and Andrea !😊

Easy to find in a beautiful location. Very cosy room perfect for our family of 3. Joan & her Husband were so friendly and they cooked us the most amazing breakfast. Thank you for being lovely hosts, we will hopefully be back 😊

We spent a couple of nights at Karen’s studio, the stay was just perfect for what we needed; off road parking, comfy bed, handy kitchenette, clean bathroom and lots of amenities within the studio. Great communication with Karen and easy check in/out. We would stay again, thanks for having us. Xx

Sue was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in her garden room which was very comfortable and private. Everything was as expected. We would definitely stay again.

we chose Oakwood because of proximity of Heathrow but we actually spent more time in other areas than planned. We had difficulty getting back when underground routes were cancelled. Definitely not hosts fault but something to be mindful of if you are new to Underground system. A couple if stops closer to London would have been more convenient. Local food was great. Pub next door was very convenient. Great to have our own bathroom too.

Beautiful peaceful setting. Davina was a great host & accommodation was perfect for us visiting family in the area .

This is an amazing Airbnb in a lovely and welcoming home, in a beautiful green neighborhood. The ability to borrow a bike is amazing, and offering dinner and breakfast is such a nice touch. Julia and her family were really kind and I would love to come back some time. Highly recommend!

I had such a lovely stay here! Kate is an amazing host—super friendly, thoughtful, and just all-around lovely to chat to. The space itself is clean, peaceful, and has a really cozy, welcoming vibe. And her two dogs? Absolute sweethearts. Total bonus having them around for little puppy greetings! If you're after a relaxing spot with great energy (and bonus puppy cuddles), I couldn't recommend this place more—it’s an absolute gem. Thanks again, Kate!

Wonderful host, who couldn’t do enough. Very pro active on day of arrival with constant messaging regarding check in & local amenities available in the area. Room was well beyond expected, lovely double bedroom with selection of linen & pillows, bathroom was clean & tidy & on the larger side being within a fine Country residence, there was also a living room available for guests to relax in, loved the 2 resident dogs who were very friendly. I would certainly recommend Celia as a host with full confidence, she was a joy to meet.

Jilly is kind, considerate and meticulous. The arrangements at her Airbnb are immaculate. From the squeaky clean room to the full range of toilteries (more than you’d find in most places) to the wholesome breakfast of fruits yogurt and cereal to good furniture. The Airbnb is also very well located - walking distance from the River brook, High Street, and The Carpneter’s Arms (best pub in Burford), the Norman / Anglican Church - St. John the Baptist. Would highly recommend!

Simple peaceful spotless place to stay, all details thought of and a friendly helpful host. I stayed for Farley Horse Trials and it was ideal as practically walking distance to the estate, and the George and Dragon pub across the road with a peaceful garden to sit out on a hot night. The place looks better than the pictures and is extremely clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee, tea and everything you need for breakfast. I loved it and will definitely come back!

I loved my stay with Antony. The room was bright, comfortable and stylish - as was the whole house. Great value, hassle free and very homely. I hope to stay again for work if Antony will have me!

Arlene was a very welcoming & friendly host. Her home ( a beautiful cottage ) & her garden is delightful . You can sit outside admiring the flowers & enjoy your breakfast or a coffee / glass of wine in the evening. The breakfasts with homemade bread, fresh fruits, granola & cheeses / hams etc are delicious . There are a choice of walks along the riverThames, on the doorstep . No need to get your car out . It was all perfect & we really hope to be able to re-visit.

One of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at if not the best a great place to recharge the batteries before traveling on. Close enough to Oxford and Windsor Castle but a destination in itself for the property alone. Contemporary accommodation with the best showers we've experienced in the UK with great continental breakfast. Tony and Astrid couldn't do enough for you.

Chris was excellent at communicating before arrival. Clear instructions and a What3Words location meant that the house was easy to find, despite it being down narrow and slightly confusing lanes. On arrival Chris couldn't have been more welcoming. The bedroom has a lovely feel, clean and tidy, but also full of books and rugs and pictures. The bed is very comfortable and the village is very quiet. I would definitely book again.

Two of the loveliest people that you will ever meet, I did not want to leave Peter and Guy's cosy home and right away felt like I had known them forever!! Their hospitality was so warm, I now understand why they have become "superhosts" in such a short time. Thank you Peter, Guy (and Wilbur!) for being such wonderful people and for your kindness which is so rare these days. I hope to be back again soon, even if I dont require accomodation, I have made a couple of wonderful new friends! Ps the bed was soo comfortable I slept like a baby for the whole two weeks that I stayed! Cant recommend this place enough.

We had a fantastic time in the Cotswolds at Jo’s. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to be away from the mainstream tourist locations, but close enough to visit them with ease. Jo was an amazing host and her house and two golden retrievers added to our sense of comfort and homeliness. I would recommend this to everyone and would score it 10 out of 10 for what we wanted and experienced. Thanks Jo - hopefully see you in South Africa and can repay the hospitality.

A perfect place to spend the night - comfortable and clean. Rodolph and Nalini are a lovely welcoming couple and made me feel right at home. I will be back!
