From the moment you approach our Shepherds Hut you are greeted with motion sensor exterior lights, open the doors kick off your shoes and feel right at home with warmth from the under floor heating.

Located in the heart of the Peak District National Park offering so many activities in the Hope Valley, Castleton and surrounding areas.

Ash Cottage

Charming self catering holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 guests, with a private indoor heated swimming pool and a large shared garden. Located in the heart of the Peak District National Park offering panoramic views over the Hope Valley and Castleton and its famous Caverns and historic Peveril Castle. Situated right in the heart of The Peak District National Park makes us a fantastic base from which to explore the huge array of activities and places to see that are offered by the area.

Uppergate Farmhouse Apartment

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.

Teal cottage, hot tub, stunning views & spa option

Teal cottage is all on the ground floor with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private hot tub* and exclusive use of the owners private pool* available. There is ample private parking. Tucked away up a long private drive, this isolated cottage has stunning views from every room and from the patios and hot-tub. However, it is only a ten minute walk down into (usually vibrant) Holmfirth. *Use of the hot tub and pool available at additional cost see below for more details.

Harlequin House, hot tub, annex, & spa option

Escape the heatwave, it’s always cooler at altitude, in this beautifully presented detached bungalow with lovely views. Harlequin House sleeps 12 with 4.5 bathrooms, 8 in the main house and 4 in the separate annex. There is also a private garden with a hot-tub; exclusively yours for the entirety of your stay. Drive-way, off-road parking. Exclusive use of the owners spa facilities is also available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Escape the heatwave, it’s always cooler at altitude and enjoy being outside, or inside with spectacular panoramic views of the Peak District National Park in this newly renovated luxurious period cottage with 4 bedrooms, each with its own dedicated shower/bathroom and a breathtaking view for you to enjoy with family and friends. Be one of the first to experience the views from the hot tub and upstairs sitting room or balcony.

Grove Farm Cottage

A lovely 3 bedroom farmhouse that sleeps up to 5 in a double, twin and single bedroom. An enclosed garden, pet friendly (one dog), use of the farm's heated indoor pool (a 70 minute private swim/ sauna is guaranteed each day of the stay - these slots can be pre-booked). There is a playground and a playshed and animal feeding/ egg collecting takes place at 8.30am every day on farm. Children are very welcome to join in.
