Cheap. Nice location. Comfy big bed. Room smelt a bit damp is only drawback. Good shower. Good location.

This was genuinely one of our favourite places in all of Sri Lanka. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and just the sounds of nature. The room is very luxurious, from the big comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with a hot waterfall shower, it was perfect! Madhu’s hospitality was expectional, we were so well taken care of and felt at home right away! We had dinner on the terrace by the lake both nights and it was the most delicious and varied local food we’ve had! The breakfast was also fantastic! One of the highlights was when Madhu offered for us to borrow her paddleboard of the lake where we went round the lagoon at sunset and saw lots of widlife! A truly exceptional place, would definitely recommend!!

The stay with Igor and Michele was just nice. It is quietly located, the pool and the many seating areas invite you to relax. We had breakfast together and the whole atmosphere was super friendly and familiar. We would definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

This is a fantastic AirBnB house with a beautiful view of ocean, and with gardens, pool, and covered terrace. You are walking distance to two beaches and some good restaurants. The people that take care of the house, Nuska and Kumara, are really wonderful. They are very attentive, bring you fresh juices throughout day, and cook delicious meals. The breakfast is included but lunch and dinner can be served at cost (which is way cheaper than restaurants and at least as delicious). We spent a week here and that wasn’t enough…it really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had such a great time at this place with my family. Our kids could play outside and we adults had a chance to relax. The whole host family were just lovely. Food was good, we got something for everyone (not an easy task). They helped us with everything we needed and were really flexible.

This place was so beautiful! So many well kept plants and the pool area was so nice. The gentleman working there and the lady that cooked were so kind and sweet and always smiling and wanting to help. Food was delicious. very kind people, even offered us our room to rest in after a safari after our check out time, so nice! Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again and again and again!

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

We stayed at Villa White for a month as a family with a baby and a four-year-old child and we couldn't have imagined a better place to stay for this time. The owners welcomed us like family, helped us with the children and fulfilled every wish whether it was planning excursions, fresh coffee or the fever of our son. For a week we even got the larger room without paying for it just to give us a nice time. Yamuna, the owner of the villa, not only loves babies and children, but is the warmest person we have ever met while traveling. A special highlight are the monkeys, who regularly stop by at breakfast and enjoy bananas. The location on a beautiful and child-friendly beach for Sri Lankan standards was also perfect for us. We will be back and can only recommend it.

We where very happy with the hotel. It was clean and we missed nothing. Good restaurant with fair prices and the staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Very good location to start your safari. Its just 3 minutes from the entrance of the park. The host arranged a safari for us and everything worked out perfectly. We got picked up at the hotel and the guide was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife.

Gorgeous place! I’ll be back next season for sure but with my partner and toddler. I saw so many couple with babies and young children, and groups of friends. Really nice place for all kinds of groups of people :)

Host Dilini and Chama were very welcoming and warmful people. we enjoyed our stay and it was pleasant stay at Jungalow Mirissa. Appreciate host for their excellent local breakfast. Would visit again and definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay. Our host and staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The space is very serene, and the location is perfect - not far from shops and restaurants but at the same time quiet and peaceful. We felt very welcomed and very well taken care off.

Easy, clean, calm. We liked out stay very much, the pool is clean, the room ambiance is soothing. Host welcomes you with a smile, the food is delicious, everything is very considered. I recommend it!

The Jungle Loft was the perfect place to stay around Galle! Very comfortable beds, very nice facilities and a wonderful surrounding. I must mention that the employee Praneeth was an outstanding person who was a careful and thoughtful person during our complete stay. He even made us coffee at 5 am when we had to leave. One of the best services we experienced on our journeys. Big thank you to Praneeth! The accommodation is a 12/10. very recommended!

Great stay in paradise!

We felt very comfortable with Magda and Domi. The two welcomed us in a very friendly way and gave us good tips for the area. The room was beautiful and very clean. The common areas were very spacious and there was nothing missing. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it and around it:) and our daughter also loved the trampoline. All in all, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Sri Lanka.

We absolutely LOVED staying at NETS. The room was beautiful and clean and the common areas were comfy. The pool was great to use on a lunch break. The co-working space was brilliant, easy to access and you can book separate rooms for meetings. The staff were amazing! We had the absolute highlight of our trip. Shehan is an exceptional host who really reads every wish from the eyes. The resort is in a fantastic location and Shehan has organized an unforgettable, privately guided tour of Yala Park for us. We have seen leopards, elephants and many other animals away from mass tourism. The overnight stay in the bungalow in the middle of nature on a terrace was unique - we saw fireflies, heard the nature sounds and even got a visit from an elephant called Kumaare! Shehan's knowledge of the park is simply impressive. Unconditional recommendation !! He organized everything perfectly, from picking up at the airport to the tour and accommodation. I highly recommend Shehan and his resort! His cooking art: 5 star plus! Best guide for individual excursions!!! Ella..Nine Arch Bridge, Historic Train!Tea Plantation Deep sea fishing etc. We'll miss you! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

We had such a great stay at mates villa! It’s a gorgeous space, and we loved using the pool and enclosed yard every day. As it’s newly opened, the rooms, kitchen and overall property is in pristine condition. Really good value for what we paid and would love to stay again next time we visit. Special shoutout to the hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming, and even helped us book a taxi to our next destination. Thank you!

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.

Great accommodation. Simple room with exceptional views! Amesh is very friendly, helpful and communication was easy. The optional breakfast is very tasty and authentic. Beaches, restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance. We had a good time there!

We loved our brief stay here. It’s on a stunning beach and the pool area is also very nice. Spacious clean rooms with great bathroom and AC. The food is really good and the staff are helpful and friendly. In the night we even saw a mother sea turtle laying her eggs and returning to the sea, right outside. It was magical. Worth paying a visit to the Sea Turtle Hatchery 2 mins away where you can meet some turtles and see all their good work nursing injured ones back to health. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to stay to explore Tangalle. Place is very clean and spacious. It’s also 1 min walk from a great beach with a very nice quiet seafood restaurant. The pool area is also really nice to relax.
