Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Southsea

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Manor Court. The building (which is really interesting in itself as an old set of squash courts) has been really tastefully converted and is extremely well appointed. We were a group of 9 and all felt very comfortable and had plenty of room. Alison was very forthcoming and helpful with my (several) questions, and the location of the house is fantastic from which to go and explore the Chichester Harbour area. We loved playing cricket in the garden and sitting round the fire pit with a drink, sharing stories! Thanks Alison for a brilliant stay, highly recommended.

We spent three nights here. It is a lovely house perfect for a family get together.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Great stay in the Annex, the hosts were amazing and the location was perfect for what we needed. The annex was actually much bigger than we expected so we were pleasantly surprised. Hopefully we can return one day when our daughter is slightly older 😂

Another wonderful stay at this perfectly located, cosy and incredibly family friendly seaside retreat. This time the weather was better so the children could enjoy the garden as well. We will certainly be back.

Great communication and lovely that the owners popped by to say hello. The cottage was spotless, extremely comfy beds and very well equipped. So lovely to receive fresh eggs, milk, butter, bread,cake and prosecco - such a lovely touch. We would love to come again thank you

We had the most amazing stay at Andrea & Arnie’s home The house was clean and tidy We arrived to some cakes too which was a lovely touch! The outdoor area was such a lovely little sun trap, we had perfect weather and enjoyed sitting and soaking up the sun before I got married in Chichester on Friday! The amount of crockery, glassware & dishes available to prepare and serve food and drink in was fantastic! Location was fabulous, just a 20 minute walk to the marina where we enjoyed lunch at the boathouse restaurant Thank you so much for providing such a fabulous home for us to enjoy for 3 days 💜

What can I say? apart from 'WOW' ! We booked Xander's Tall House for the IOW festival w/e for our daughter and son to join us with their partners and we were looking for a family orientated space with ample facilities. This house delivered in every aspect - and more! Xander is an exemplary host from the point of booking and throughout our stay being very responsive and super helpful. From opening the front door we knew that we were in for a treat! Beautifully furnished with a homely feel, a fabulous rustic kitchen which opens out onto the cutest courtyard garden for dining and which we made good use of. Loads of space with 2 sitting rooms on different floors together with 2.5 bathrooms and 4 large bedrooms there was plenty of room to spread out as well as be together! The absolute icing on the cake however has to be the location. A 2 minute walk from Bembridge's array of little shops and also the beach! Wow! This house is a gem and we had a wonderful stay. loved our stay and will definitely be back. our boys were thrilled it was a real train carriage but it's so tastefully done inside it was a pleasure to stay in. for reference a narrow travel cot does fit in one of the bedrooms (host wasn't sure it would when I booked). just loved it, perfect stay

The property was so clean and spacious, all of the rooms were beautifully designed and it was perfect for our group of 5. The area is nice, close for a quick drive or taxi to the centre, and is in a nice quieter area. Julia was also so much help with everything up to and during our stay, even helping us with a lost item after we checked out. We loved staying here and would be very happy to come back!

What a gorgeous place! Sara you have made a really beautiful, quaint, peaceful retreat here. Beautifully decorated and well equipped riverside cabin. Easy to find, stunning surroundings and wildlife aplenty. The fact that there is no TV, no radio, no wifi and no phone reception is utter BLISS! If you want a digital detox, this is your place. We didn't see a single person for 2 whole days. Sara's instructions were friendly, easy to follow and she even left flowers and prosecco which is a lovely touch. Sara really has thought of everything with Pogle's cabin. Watching the fire as the sun sets, listening to the bird song and running water of the stream is a dream. So nice Sara is happy to have dogs stay here too, they absolutely loved their time here. The walks around the field and across the stream are so pretty and we often saw deer fleeting across. Thank you so much for a much needed weekend of R&R! So happy we have found this little slice of heaven, we will definitely be back.

Jo’s place is fantastic. The pool, jacuzzi, and fireplace were clean and new, and her instructions were very helpful to get everything running. The cabin was extremely clean, and had all the amenities you need for an amazing stay. Jo’s also an extremely friendly and responsive host, and cares about your privacy. Overall, we had an amazing experience, would definitely come back again.

Honestly, one of the most beautifully remote locations we've stayed at. It was quite, calming and saw plenty of owls and deer on our evening rambles! 100% recommended if you want to go to Portsmouth without dealing with the city traffic etc.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins in the woods at Marwell Resort. The cabin was exactly as described – cosy, clean, and well-equipped, offering the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. Nestled amongst the trees, it provided a peaceful and private setting that felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. There’s plenty to do on site, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re after a bit of adventure or simply want to relax in nature, there’s something for everyone. The facilities are excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for couples, families or anyone looking for a relaxing break with plenty of activities right on your doorstep. We’ll definitely be returning!

We were fortunate to be the first to stay at this shepards hut, for a weekend. What a wonderful peaceful location to stay. The hut is located at the rear of hosts garden, which is screened off to give you some privacy. Has an outside seating area and fire pit. Inside was cozy with a very comfortable bed, with lots of pillows, a little kitchen area with seating and fold up table top for meals. Bathroom although small was well equipped with a good electric shower. Location is near to Chichester and is easy to drive to places like Goodwood, the witterings and Hayling Island. A short drive to Bosham and Emsworth are worth visiting. There is a great pub just up the road, which does great food, highly recommend. We had the place to ourselves as the host was away at the time, but he kept in touch and communication was excellent, providing us with all the details we needed for a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It had everything we needed inside and more, we were welcomed by a hamper of goodies. The private garden was lovely where we enjoyed a BBQ and had visits from the amazing peacocks. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We would love to visit again in the future.
