Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Southside

Our stay at Nanyamka’s place was really nice. She was kind, proactive about things like power outages, and helpful. The unit is new with lots of indoor space. Other reviewers mentioned that the interior is dark—it is true that there is not a lot of natural light (all windows do look out onto a rock wall or storage space), but we weren’t there during the day, so it was fine for us. There are amazing beaches not that far away so we spent our daylight hours there! The exterior has a separate and shared porch with amazing views. There were a few amenities we needed to purchase like dish soap, toilet paper, cooking oil, and Cascade, but we used them during our week-long stay, so it was worth it. Like other guests, I cannot recommend strongly enough renting a car—we got a Jeep and are so glad we did. It is a bit remote. We are not used to such steep roads, sharp curves, and avoiding huge potholes, so the Jeep made our whole stay on this island so much easier and safer-feeling.

The location is excellent within an easy drive to Red Hook and several beaches. All the necessities were included such as beach chairs, towels and a washer and dryer. The complex has a gym, a small pool and is walkable to two restaurants.

I like these locations for local staycations. I have stayed with Dell multiple times and look forward to staying again. Locations are private, can be noisy but it’s quiet MOST times from my experience, and just a minute walk away from my favorite beach. Coki Point. I definitely recommend if these are some of the things you’re looking for!

Absolutely gorgeous view! From bed I could see the marina and the water. So close to red hook. 5 dollar taxi to town and back. 100 percent would stay again! And he let me check in early! Obssesed! Walking distance from Sapphire

Brad and Sarah’s place was fantastic! We arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled check-in, and the team at Margaritaville let us know the room was being cleaned and would be ready shortly. We grabbed a delicious turkey club poolside while we waited, and within the hour, we were checked in. To our surprise, we’d been upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom, which gave us plenty of space and an incredible view. Thank you, Brad and Sarah! We’ll definitely keep this and other of your Airbnb options in mind for our next getaway.

We had 2 couples staying here and it was great! The condo itself is well set up and very clean. They even let us drop off our bags early the day we checked in which we really appreciated. The pool and tennis courts are great! FYI we did have to bring our own tennis rackets and balls and there is no place to rent them, but Ana communicated this to us when we asked. The porch was also great for hanging out. The beach at the condo is nice and other beautiful beaches are a short drive away. It is about a 5 minute drive into red hook town. You definitely need a car here though, as it is not a walkable island and there is not much that you can walk to. The roads have no sidewalk or shoulder and walking around the main roads here would be very dangerous. There is plenty of parking within this condo area. Overall we had a great stay and recommend this condo!! Just definitely get a car so you can go explore the rest of the island and get to restaurants!

Joy is a great host. He responded very quickly, and was very helpful in finding the right place. The limetree resort is beautiful. Everything is newly redone. The staff of very nice and helpful. The beach is a bit rocky, But it’s the perfect spot to watch sunset! I definitely recommend this place.

Margaritaville was stupendous! Like tree was nice too but if I were to come back to stay ok either resort it would Margaritaville! Nadine was very helpful!

This was one our of favorite places yet! Everything about it was exactly as described and perfect for our family and stay. There was plenty of space, a nice fridge and washer/dryer for use. The pool had a slide our kids loved and the beach was fantastic. We hope to visit again!

Desi was able to get us two rooms at the last minute when our flight was cancelled. Spent 2 extra days in this beautiful studio overlooking the ocean. Thanks Desi - it was perfect!

Everything about Shamalie deserves the highest accolades from the home’s spectacular and elegant design, cleanliness, swimming pool, and top-notch amenities to the convenient location with breathtaking views of the harbor. Shirley is the consummate host. Personable, friendly, attentive, communicative and provides outstanding service to ensure a comfortable stay. It’s a 5-star plus property. I’m designating Shamalie as my official “go to”AirBNB whenever I need a home away from home on the beautiful island of St. Thomas. I can’t wait to return!

We are an incredible stay at the Hills. The property was exactly as described, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean with every amenity. The views were amazing. The staff was very helpful in arranging for grocery delivery... We will definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Been to St. John several times and these accommodations were the best yet - will stay again! Amazing view of Cruz Bay, too. Marble floors, custom kitchen with plenty of utensils and whatnot for cooking, even a grill. The continental breakfast in the morning was a lifesaver and Cathy, the server was personal and very cheery. Maintenance had a malfunctioning AC unit fixed in just a few hours. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a luxury stay in St. John. We’ll be back next December!

Pura Vida was lovely! The entire home was spotless. The views and the outdoor pool was our favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The grounds were beautiful and interesting. The ruins had its own little history lesson and we loved the shell book and its history to previous owners of the home. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you so much!

Lynn’s place was fantastic. The kitchen was truly amazing. I have never had a kitchen so well stocked. It was excellent. Everything you could ever need. The. Entire place was perfect.
