Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Unwind and relax in this Historic Hall that has been creatively turned into a unique and comfortable Home, complete with the outdoor bath of your dreams. The space itself provides two spacious bedrooms, with additional sleeping in the living area. A fully functioning kitchen and beautiful new bathroom. The open plan living opens out onto the deck where you will find our solid stone bath that is waiting for you!
