Recently built, our self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. We are also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. You can stay in and prepare meals or have the option of meals at the Mountain Bike Park or the National Park Hotel. As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

A lovely warm historical bolthole from which to explore Strahan and surrounds. On the other side of the bay to the township and right near the historic railway. Beautiful sunsets over the bay. Also highly recommend the Regatta Point tavern (very short walk) for dinner and Gordon River Cruises for an unforgettable day of history and hospitality on pristine waters. A great long weekend - thank you!

Perect place to relax and unwind, whilst staring out the window looking at the amazing view of the bay. Tricias place was furnished and stocked well it made you feel at home. It was wonderdul to just walk in sit down in the warm as Tricia had the fireplace already going for us with no shortage of wood to keep it going. Some fun was had fishing directly out the front of the home. Geeveston township is only 5 minutes away to get any essentials you need. We had a great morning out exploring Hartz Mountain National Park which was only approximately 20km down the road. We look forward to staying at Tricias place again.

The most stunning incredible stay. Ben’s place was just as beautiful as the photos! We loved the open space and the great read of all the economical features the place presented. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we needed. The breakfast was a lovely touch and we made the most of the extra provisions for purchase. Beautiful home and fantastic host! Super clean, elegant space with a very large kitchen, living space and incredibly comfortable bed. Scottie was extremely accommodating with both our 11pm check in and use of the spa under the stars. Always available to help, we felt right at home and loved feeding the sheep in the morning!
