Recently built, my self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. I'm also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park. Welcome to Seaforth! A lovingly renovated fishing shack on 10 acres overlooking Macquarie Harbour. Accommodating up to 4 guests. This cozy yet comfortable shack features one queen-size and one king-size bed. The shack has been renovated with a mix of recycled, new, and natural materials. Two outdoor firepit areas to enjoy. There is an eclectic selection of books, records, and games to explore!

The Old Farmhouse

The Old Farmhouse is a renovated, 3 bedroom self contained cottage at the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale with an organic vegetable garden and orchard (for guests' use) and a beautiful rainforest walk along a bubbling creek. Furnishings and finishes are as organic and non-toxic as we can make them.
