Manset is on the "quiet" side of the island (as compared to Bar Harbor), but it’s an active neighborhood and we love being here! Our apartment is situated in a larger building with another apartment upstairs and a commercial space—with a baker who just occupied it recently . A neighborhood with boat building history and current activity.. A short walk down to Manset (rocky) shore. Seawall picnic area is not far away via car/bicycle down the main road as are Wonderland and Ship Harbor trails.
