Leobendorf it self also offers a lot of beautiful places, for example the castle Kreuzenstein, which you can explore walking.

It is located in the little centre of Kritzendorf between Vienna and Tulln. You are not far away from the danube and the nearby meadowy woods. The famous Strombad - a bathing area along the river - is a 10minutes walk away. Vienna is easily reached via train in 20-30 min.

You enter the house through the rear entrance and reach the staircase, which is also used by us. You will reach the attic, where the apartment is located. Here you have your own area with kitchen and bathroom. There is a double bed as well as a pull-out couch for two more people.

Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle, Romanesque church, Gothic ossuary and lots of nature between the forest and wine district near Eggenburg. Our charming little hut called "Katthult" is situated in a small settlement in Altenberg/Greifenstein directly at an backwater of the Danuberiver. Altenberg/Greifenstein offers a broad range of leissure possibilties (swimming, mountainbiking, hiking,...) Close to our place there are a number of restaurants which can me reached by walking in about 10 min.
