Holiday rentals with a patio in Spotsylvania County

Very secluded location. Beautiful outside sitting area that backs to the trees. 2 bedrooms that are on opposite sides of the apartment that allows privacy for both rooms. Full kitchen area and TV in sitting area

This was the nicest Airbnb I've rented in YEARS. It is very well-appointed and maintained, with everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend. It is nestled away in the bottom floor of a beautiful house, but you very much feel like you're all on your own. Separate entrance, plenty of parking space. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and woodsy. The hosts were very responsive and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. It was a little over ten minutes to drive to the convention center, so very convenient! Just be aware that the room with one twin bed is inside of the master bedroom- a repurposed dressing room. So whoever stays in there will have to walk through another bedroom to get to their bed. It wasn't a problem for us, but I thought it would be helpful to mention it for those looking for fully private spaces for all guests. I would 100% stay again the next time I'm in Fredericksburg. My pup and I had a wonderful stay at David’s apartment, which is the bottom level of a home beautifully converted into a spacious living space. The photos don’t do it justice—it’s much larger than expected. The bedroom is huge with a massive, super comfy bed and a desk for working. The living room is setup with a comfortable seating area, and 2 bunk beds for those traveling with kids. Initially, I didn’t plan to stay long due to there only being a kitchenette, but the air fryer/oven and small stove burner made cooking simple meals super convenient, and I ended up extending my stay! It was a perfect spot for the week to work from. The family was incredibly kind, hospitable, and always helpful. There’s no fence for the backyard but this wasn’t an issue for us. We enjoyed walking around the peaceful, beautiful neighborhood. As noted in previous reviews, you can hear footsteps from above, but this didn’t take away from the quality of the space. I’d absolutely stay again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Eunice and Janice’s apartment was great! The space was fully furnished, functioning washer and dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen where we were able to cook meals throughout the weekend. The trip went smoothly with no issues, and both hosts had great communication, quickly answering any questions we had. If you’re comfortable staying in a lower-level unit, I highly recommend this place. While they do have a dog upstairs, we didn’t experience any excessive barking or noise. Overall, it was a great stay at a great price.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb over Thanksgiving, and it was a truly delightful experience! While the property is about 8-10 minutes off the main highway, the peaceful and serene surroundings made it worth it—exactly the escape we needed. The house was immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook our holiday meal, the bathroom and bedding were spotless, and everything felt so comfortable. The thoughtful welcome basket filled with snacks and the fridge stocked with water were such kind touches, showing how much care the host puts into making her guests feel at home. Communication was exceptional. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, answering any questions quickly. By the end of our stay, the property truly felt like home—warm, inviting, and cozy. She even made the effort to meet us as we were leaving, adding a heartfelt touch to our experience. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The hosts are both extremely friendly. They respond quickly and they really care about the quality of your stay! The location is in their basement but it feels so secluded and private! Whether for a quick weekend or a few days, it's definitely worth the price.

Perfect location for someone interested in historical sites. I was notified in the morning that the space would be available earlier than scheduled. Bedroom was large with ample closet space. Kitchen was adequately equipped. It has a drip coffee-maker and coffee, sugar, and non-dairy creamer. Kitchen table only seats two. Shower stall was roomy. Bring your own detergent if you intend to use the laundry machines. I was quite satisfied.

Daniel’s place was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. The house provided everything we needed for all parties, from the shuffle board, to kayaking, and boat house. The added boat rental option is a must. We had a great time being right on the water.

My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

The house was great! We were able to fit two 19 foot bass boats in the driveway, and could have fit 4 easily. The ramp is in the same neighborhood less than 2 minutes away with ample parking. The house is clean, and back porch is wonderful. This will be our new spot for our yearly tournaments.

Melinda was very responsive and accommodating when having to check in early, was a nice weekend get away for what we needed it for. Will definitely be back!

House was very clean and had everything for a pleasant stay

It is a beautiful home and wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and so respectful and responsive. It is a beautiful peaceful place to stay. We will come back and will recommend this home to others. Thank you for having us.

Angela and her manager were very responsive. We had a few questions and they got back to us very quickly. We are so happy that we were able to find a place that we could bring our furry friend. We all had a great weekend and my husband won a gold medal in his age group at a local triathlon. Without the house, he probably would not have done so well and our weekend would not have been so easy! Thank thank you so much for hosting us!

Oliver made it so easy to check in and out. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We forgot a toothbrush and coffee pods and home had extra of both. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper and paper towels,etc. and the beds were so comfy. We put the two kayaks in the back of our CRV and just drove slowly the two blocks (at most) to the launch. Lovely area to kayak around. We went to King’s Dominion one day and then to Fredericksburg for a movie and pickleball (the Picklr was great) Otherwise stayed at the house and enjoyed the porch and basketball. The fire pit area was great but unfortunately we weren’t able to use it bc of evening showers. Although, those evening showers enabled us to hang out on the porch without bugs bothering us. Oliver was so receptive to any question we had and always responded quickly. It was the perfect place for 5 adults to come together for a mini family vacation and just relax.
