The cottage is an absolutely paradise! Fere and her wonderful family were consummate hosts - very accommodating and communicative, with great local recommendations. The cabin itself is idyllic and the perfect place for a weekend getaway; we couldn’t believe it was just an hour from the city — we really felt like we got the chance to unplug. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with great walking trails and gardens! The cottage is comfortable and spacious, with all the necessities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There are lots of great things about Lisa’s farmhouse, but for me it was the spaciousness, huge windows through the whole house, tons of light and the quaint and pretty decor. The bedrooms are lovely and the bathrooms were well-equipped and spotless. Beds are comfy. Kitchen newly renovated. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard on a lovely summer’s day having our morning coffee. It was the perfect place for us and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here for an extended long weekend and had the best time. The place had everything you would need for the stay. Our dogs loved all the open space for running around and would go up and visit the alpacas throughout the day. Gisele and Joel were extremely friendly and welcoming in all aspects. Any questions we had they were quick to respond. We will definitely plan on visiting again in the future.

We just spent 5 nights at the postmaster's house and we had a wonderful time. Communication with Trevor was easy and everything was as described. The location is fantastic for a vacation, even with our 2 year old son. The environment around the house and the view from the backyard is very calming. We would, without hesitation, stay there again!!!

A truly excellent experience in every way. Paul and Lindsey are amazing hosts. The space is beautiful and fun. We had a sauna and sat by the wood stove. The projector TV was easy to set up and great for watching a movie. Paul gave us a tour of the farm which was very interesting and informative. A short distance to both Uxbridge and Port Perry where we were sightseeing. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful location to wind down! A peaceful, quiet, and beautiful cabin to enjoy a bit of quiet time with my two children. We especially loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the cattle. Everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend was provided in the cabin :)

Great experience staying at Daya and Dave's glamping dome. Dome has been setup in a very serene place with beautiful surroundings. It had all the amenities we needed. Dave is very responsive and had good recommendations for us.

My stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient—just a short 30-minute drive from Niagara Falls—which made day trips really easy. The home itself is spacious, cozy, and perfect for a group of four to six. My friends and I had an incredible time relaxing, cooking, and enjoying each other's company. The host, Candy, was outstanding—very responsive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Communication was quick and seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located getaway near Niagara. We’d definitely love to come back!

Our stay at the Schoolhouse was perfect! Ingrid is an incredible Airbnb host. She's invested and proactive in making your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The Schoolhouse is immaculate and well-designed, but Ingrid also pays close attention to smaller details that enhance your stay. We loved the freshly baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, and chopped wood (for the outdoor firepit). She also provided us with endless recommendations for local restaurants and hiking trails, all within short driving distance. If you're looking for a cozy and intimate little getaway, we highly recommend it! Inside the Airbnb, you'll find loads of blankets, Netflix, a fully functional kitchen, board games, and an electric fireplace. Outside, it's located on a fully functional farm, where you can enjoy a cozy firepit and make friends with some adorable farm animals. Everything about our stay was smooth and seamless too. We were on a trip across half of the country and had not slept well until we stayed at Tim and Katie's. Even our anxious border collie got comfortable quickly there. The house is spacious, clean, and very inviting. The hosts were also quick to respond and try to assist when we thought we lost something important after leaving. 5 stars all the way around!

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The carriage house was a beautiful, homey, and peaceful place to stay! My wife felt safe alone there while I was out doing groomsmen things. The two A/C units really keep it cool despite the temperature and humidity outside. It was overall just an amazing place to stay at with very kind hosts and a every cute and good dog who respect your privacy. Also the air hockey table was a nice touch.

This was a great weekend getaway. Beautiful location, great amenities. Unfortunately it rained the weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful deck or fire pit. Will book again

We had an absolutely magical stay! The setting is straight out of a storybook—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature. Our toddler had the time of her life playing with the friendly farm animals, and it was such a joy watching her light up with every interaction. My wife is still completely mesmerized by the beautiful interior design—thoughtful, cozy, and inspiring in every detail. She’s already planning our next trip back! The hospitality was top-notch and the entire experience felt effortless and welcoming. Even though we missed the sunrise due to overcast skies, waking up early to the calm and quiet was still so worth it. This place is a gem—perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind in a uniquely special setting. Highly, highly recommend!

Exactly what they stated on Airbnb is what you get. The host is friendly and kind and the property is clean, quiet, and peaceful. Meeting the host and relaxing in the private large gazebo were some of my highlights.

This is a lovely, peaceful, rural location for a quiet getaway. Elizabeth Kathryn obviously has had lots of experience in providing everything that her guests need. We had a wonderful three day stay and enjoyed the surrounding hill, forests and farmland. It is also in an excellent location for visiting Letchworth Park.

Had such a wonderful long weekend and could not have picked a better place to stay. Lots of beautiful wineries close by and with helpful hints from our host we were able to have a trip to always remember. If visiting Niagara on the Lake I would alawys stay here first.
