The studio is a bright, airy self contained space with a mezzanine platform that provides the sleeping area, which is accessed via a ladder. There is an outside area for storage, drying wetsuits or simply chilling in the sun with a cold beer or cuppa tea. We are a 10 minute walk from the town centre where you'll find an amazing choice of funky shops, exciting fresh food restaurants, long coastal walks, Art galleries and of course...our world renowned beaches and surf breaks!!
“Tim’s place is clean and stylish. The weather was not good during our stay but The Studio was a cosy space and more than warm enough. The kitchen amenities are useful to have breakfast before the day ahead and has all the things needed to cook lunch/dinner if wanted. The location was fine for us - it took around 10 minutes to get into St Ive’s town centre and around 20 minutes to walk back (steel uphill walk back). If you don’t want to walk back though, you can get a taxi ride for £3.10, which we thought was a bargain! We were able to park on the road near The Studio. We will no doubt be back, if we can get some time away from our children. Thanks Tim!”
Self-contained cosy studio, high ceilings, central heating, lots of space & comfortable sofa bed for extra guests. Beautiful handcrafted kitchen & luxury shower room. Vintage furniture & scandi fabrics create a quirky, homely feel. Cottage guests have their own space in the garden, please note our garden is a work in progress, it’s a rambling haven for wildlife but it’s not everybody’s cup of tea. “I think the past few days have been one of my favourite Air BnB experiences ever.” M, June ‘19
“Potter’s cottage is adorable and feels like the perfect place to stay in Cornwall. From it’s gorgeous Cornish blue windows to the stylish interior decor it’s full of personality and Sarah is the perfect host answering any questions quickly. I absolutely loved my stay here and I’ve already booked another stay!”
Gwithian is a first floor, beautifully appointed and recently renovated luxury apartment with glorious views of the golden sands at Gwithian and Godrevy Head. Porthminster beach is a 300 m walk away and, a rarity for St Ives, the apartment has parking.
“We had a lovely week in St Ives. The apartment is a short walk to the centre of St Ives and Harbour, which was great to wander in to collect fresh bread in the morning and a drink or dinner in the evening. It was a good base for exploring beaches near by - Hayle and Gwithian about a 25 min drive and able to walk to local beaches too. We loved walking back up the hill but there were plenty of taxis to take anyone not wanting to walk. The apartment had two bay windows - one for the main bedroom and the lounge where we were able to sit at look out over Gwithian bay across the way. The outlook was amazing, we were very lucky to have a sunny week which made a stunning view. Our boys had no windows in their room and didn't seem concerned. The photos advertising were very true to life. The kitchen was well equipped. The lounge was very comfortable and a nice place for my family to be together. Communication was excellent Parking was good too. We had a really lovely week here.”
