Enjoy summer days and gorgeous nights! We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, state parks, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and Mackinaw City / Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

Maple Leaf Cottage - a stay for all seasons

Clean, cozy and affordable. Nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. New WI- FI. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The cabin is cozy, but there’s lots to do locally. We are 8 minutes from the Cut River Bridge, 42 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge, 32 Minutes from Silver Mountain Skiing/sledding hill and disc golf course. Also, we are only one of two house on 200 ft of dirt road. You can leave the driveway to enter directly onto an assortment of ORV trails! Snowmobiling, ATV riding, or simply driving around to enjoy scenery in your truck. Our cabin could be just what you need for your perfect getaway!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
