Pet-friendly holiday rentals in St. John

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John. Isa was so friendly and welcoming, always offering helpful recommendations and suggestions. She always made sure we had everything we need. Her home is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay on the island. The place was peaceful and her artwork was stunning. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks Isa!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house. It exceeded our expectations, and the house was in excellent condition. The morning coffee on the patio was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved the secluded location of the house, but it was still just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and stores. Baron was an amazing host who even gave us some mango and coconuts from his backyard. The three AC units in the house were a huge plus, and the fully stocked kitchen was a great convenience. We would love to return to the USVI and stay here again. 10/10.

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

The Airbnb and The host Ja were amazing! It was our last day in St Thomas and woke up to banging on the doors and gun shots at 1am-2am i had three children in the home and had to get them away from all the windows. Be aware of your surroundings.

Absolutely worth whatever is charged! The landscaping is so beautiful, the residence is immaculate, the hosts anticipated our every need, and we felt very safe and protected. The pool is amazing as are the views. Nearby grocery stores made it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to eat in. Easy to drive to restaurants. Cannot say enough good things about this villa. Brittany and Robert were quick to respond to any questions we had. Trust their recommendations. We spent a great day on a cruse to the British Virgin Islands with Justin, one of the captains of Salty Daze. It was wonderful and highly recommended to us by Brittany.

This was a great play to stay with a really good layout. Nice to have two bedrooms on the same floor for a younger child, but then a downstairs room and game room for the older kids. Would definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff as well!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Just Peachy! Our stay at Just Peachy in St. John was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and ocean—it truly felt like paradise. The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Melissa, our host, was phenomenal! She was incredibly responsive, always just a message away, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises, lounging on the patio with the cool island breeze, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made this trip unforgettable. This property has everything we expected and more. It is more spacious than what the pictures show. Not only the bedrooms are big, but huge bathrooms and closets too. Family had good time. Highly recommended.

This airbnb matched exactly to what I was expecting. It was a nice studio condo with outdoor space, nice pool and gorgeous views. Very close to Cruz Bay. Very happy with our trip.

Claudia was great and very responsive. Also gave helpful info for the ferry and jeep rentals. Curtis, the property manager was also great and helped us with a jeep and fishing & snorkel charter recommendations. Just good people that took good care of us. I'd highly recommend Claudia.

My husband and I spent 5 days at Susan's beautiful guest house and loved every minute of it! Susan's home was close enough to Cruz Bay to make it a quick drive to restaurants, the national park, shopping, ferry dock, markets, gas, etc. but far enough away for peace and tranquility. And the view of Cruz Bay was beautiful. The house was spotless and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were great quality and the bed was comfortable! I loved the outdoor showers , the gardens and beautiful patios with their archways and shell designs. Susan also provided beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which we were so grateful for and used everyday! And best of all, Susan was so sweet to answer any questions we had and to offer suggestions of places we would enjoy exploring throughout our stay. We would 100% stay here again and would give her 10 stars if we could!

Kim was amazing. Greeted us with a basket of goodies, gave great recommendations and let us know everything we needed to know about our stay there even down to details like putting sugar water on the balcony and you will see a little. yellow and black bird come for it…and it did! The unit had everything we needed. It was close to good restaurants. It was very peaceful. The balcony had a great breeze. We spent early mornings outside with coffee watching the birds and iguanas up in the trees. We saw a doe grazing on the property from up there too in the afternoon. Aiming to go back in the fall!

If you find yourself in St. John and want a beautiful secluded space with a great view, do not hesitate to stay here! The road getting up to it is extremely steep so if that is hard for you, that would be the only issue. Our jeep made the climb up and down no problem, but it was the steepest road I have ever been on! Other than that, the space is perfect for your homebase. I highly recommend Coffee on the porch for sunrise before your adventure of the day. A great clean space that just feels good to be in.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view from the house is incredible, and the amenities provided basically every possible need. We enjoyed the provided beach chair, beach shade, beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler with ice packs, provided snacks, and more! The kitchen had pretty much any appliance and gadget you could need or want, plus Tupperware for prepping beach snacks and lunch. The location was great just up the hill from groceries and restaurants and a short drive from the national park and beaches. The pool area and view from it were terrific. It has to be one of the better sunset watching spots in the island. When we come back to St. John we would easily consider staying here again.

Kim’s place is AMAZING! The property was pristine! Easy to find, accessible to all the best spots on STJ, and a peaceful retreat after Long Beach days. AMENITIES LEVEL 1000! She has EVERYTHING you can possibly need for your trip and more. Ice trays, cooler, beach chairs, vacuum! As a single mom traveling with 2 kids she made it EASY. The parking area is one of the best! Her pool, beds, and balcony were the perfect retreat. We cooked meals each night and her kitchen had everything I needed to be able to do that. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. The pool and pool area was the perfect end of each day. My kids loved being able to jump in the pool after a good beach sand rinse. The sunsets are beautiful!!!! She was extremely responsive and helpful! We truly felt at home away from home and will be back! The frogs, birds, iguanas, and landscaping was beyond our expectations! Thanks Kim for an amazing stay!

Our stay at James and Tara's villa was absolutely wonderful! The villa is situated in a gated compound, which provided a sense of security and peace of mind throughout our stay. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes outside of Cruz Bay, making it incredibly easy to access town and all its amenities. The villa itself was immaculate and comfortable, exceeding our expectations in every way. It came equipped with beach chairs and towels, which made our beach days even more enjoyable and hassle-free. The thoughtful amenities provided by James and Tara ensured that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a spotless, comfortable, and conveniently located accommodation on St. John's. James and Tara were fantastic hosts, and their villa provided the perfect setting for our vacation. Thank you again for a memorable stay!

This place was awesome. Beautiful views of Cruz Bay and the surrounding islands (for some reason they don’t have any pics of the views in the posting, which they should update!). Very short 5 min drive to the grocery store and all the restaurants and bars downtown. Very short drive to all the incredible north shore beaches. Pool is pretty small but the views from the pool area were great.

This house is in a great location at the top of the hill. Feels like a secret paradise get away with breathtaking views but conveniently close to down town. Yes air in the main living space would be nice, but we found air conditioning to be extremely rare on the island. The air in the bedrooms was wonderful. Washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Never had a problem with power, WiFi or water supply while there. Few locks and screens need repair which I alerted the owner to so they can be addressed for the next tenant, but did not impede our stay. We were Overall very pleased with the home. Pictures are very accurate!
