Holiday rentals with lake access in St. Joseph County

Host were very kind and informative. They checked in on updates and made sure we had everything my wife and I needed! Very cozy, clean, and peaceful place to stay!

The little john boat that you can take out to the lake was such a nice added touch to the already beautiful location and home. We caught 30+ fish. There were a couple dozen crappie, a couple dozen bluegill and a few bass. The home was so clean and so well decorated.

We rented this property for our family with two little children. Although a bit small , it worked well for our needs. Lovely area, with a short pleasant walk to Lake Michigan beaches. We used to live in this neighborhood so it was very nice to revisit the area.

This was a great stay for my dad’s lifelong dream of going to a home game at Notre Dame. Miranda was responsive and helpful. The space was immaculate and the view was beautiful. I highly recommend Miranda’s place! Thank you so much for having us!

I recently stayed at this charming 3-bedroom cabin with a loft, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the coziest vibes. The cabin is beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern touches, making it feel like a home away from home. The spacious open living area was perfect for the 6 of us. Each of the three bedrooms was incredibly comfortable, with soft bedding and plenty of natural light. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. Overall, this cabin exceeded all of our expectations. Kevin and Vicky were very responsive and kind. Will definately book with them again if in the area. Highly recommend!

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

Stay at Off the Beaten Pass and you will be wonderfully refreshed. It is a peaceful spot by an old wooded reserve. A path in the woods to town is right out back. We walked to the beach, splash pad and playground a few times a day. Randa is friendly, welcoming and very quick to respond. We would love to come back again!

Perfect Lakeside Oasis! Our family had an amazing stay at this lakeside house. Plenty of room and activities for everyone. We especially enjoyed getting out on the lake with the canoe. Hope to visit again sometime.

Great little spot. Really loved the local coffee shop. Didn't spend much time in town, but drove to the national park instead. Great spot to save a little and still be able to enjoy the beach and parks.

We loved our stay! So much fun walking around and loved the beautiful scenery!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

Nada was great to work with. Anytime we had a question, she had the answer and responded professionally and promptly. The unit had a great view of the lake and easy access being on the first floor. Will look forward to booking this unit at the Culver Cove in the future.

Great place and a fantastic experience with Lauren. Very peaceful home (like in the country) yet close to everything. The home is very clean and has everything you'll need. This place is 5 Stars, and priced very reasonably, so book it now if its available. You will not regret it! Thanks again Lauren for the treats. Special surprise that made our day even better. I needed it after the Notre Dame loss and that cheered me up :)

We have stayed at locations hosted by Jennifer before and each visit has gone great. She has been super attentive both before and after the stay. Can't imagine what she could have done to make it any better.

The rental unit was great for our weekend stay. Communication was great and check in was easy!

We LOVED this place! Quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood which made it wonderful to relax and take several walks. Even a Nice short leisurely walk to the beach. We used the campfire pit a lot, since it was a cooler weekend than normal. The place was super clean, cute, cozy and comfy! Close to everything we wanted to do restaurants, ice cream, bike rides, etc. Peter was a wonderful host and even had a bottle of wine for us in the refrigerator to help celebrate our anniversary! We will be back!!

We love this place. We’ve now been three times and are already planning our next time. The cottage has everything you need and is cozy and relaxing. Perfect for a lovely few days away from the hub bub of everyday. Meta Rose is proactive and responsive. We’ll be coming back again and again. 💕

Easy check-in and felt right at home. Jennifer was always responsive to messages. She also gave great suggestions for food etc. The house is located perfectly for walking to the beach, market, restaurants, coffee. It is also a great location for quick travels to New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Michigan City and more. We will visit again for sure!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and flexible, making everything so easy and welcoming from start to finish. This home holds a lot of sentimental value for our family — we spent many years vacationing in this area growing up — and it meant so much to be able to return to the area and create new memories in such a beautiful, well-kept space. We couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, meaningful getaway.

We had a great time staying at Amy's place! It is the perfect size for a couple. It feels very cozy and like you are actually staying at someone's home vs. the sterile Airbnbs that are owned by corporate entities these days. The property is as described. It is very private, yet close to everything! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The place was perfect for our Mothers Day girls weekend! The check in was easy. Upon opening the front door, pleasantly surprised by the well decorated/furnished house, looks just like the pictures! The house was convenient for us to spend a day in St Joe and a day on the wine trail.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

This is a wonderful find in Michiana Shores: close enough to the "action" of New Buffalo but secluded and peaceful. The walk/bike ride to the beach is very pleasant, but you may wish to stay in the backyard of the cottage to enjoy the beautiful surroundings/firepit. Grilling and eating outside on the large table was a blast. The outdoor shower is amazing, especially on a chilly morning! Don't miss a perfect Lake Michigan sunset at Stop 37-39 beach. Meals at Bentwood Tavern and Stop 50 Pizza (which you can WALK TO) were delicious as always. You will not be disappointed staying at this Cottage! A+ hosts and property!
