David is a great host. He is very helpful and will always try to be available and give you tips for when you visit Malta and answer any queries you may have about your trip or the apartment in general. The apartment was clean and tidy as a whole when we arrived and had all the main amenities we were looking for, i.e. air conditioning, wifi, outdoor area at the back, open kitchen. The location of the apartment was very convenient and added to a great holiday. There are supermarkets within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. If you're into good nightlife the apartment is about a 10 minute walk away from all the restaurants, bars and clubs in a place called Paceville. There is also a bay within walking distance of the apartment and bus services for those who like to travel to different parts of Malta when on holiday. I found David to be a very relaxed and laid back host who was also extremely accommodating. Any requests you have David tries to answer them as quickly as he can. David is also a very open person who tries to help you with any queries and always goes far to make sure you are happy with the apartment. I would definitely recommend David's apartment for those visiting Malta and staying around the area of St Julian's/Pembroke.

Andy’s place was perfect for our girls trip to Malta! Very clean, felt safe and was only 15 minutes from the airport. A short drive to nearby towns like Sliema and Valetta. Would definitely recommend for your next stay in Malta.

A place with history, like so much of Malta but with all modern amenities. The pool and jacuzzi were really relaxing after a day's sightseeing - we spent all our time 'at home' beside the pool! Thank you Shaun for great communication and a great stay.

Stephanie was an excellent host. She sent useful information before we arrived and greeted us on arrival. There were one or two minor issues with plumbing that were sorted promptly and in a friendly manner. The place is really lovely especially the pool area. There were six of us but there is ample room for up to ten people . The Bolt taxi service is good but I would say a hire car is almost essential if, like us want to explore a lot of Malta. Mellieha is an excellent hub for water sports and the ferry to Gozo. Overall I think Citrine villa is a beautiful if a little faded gem.

The location of the apartment was perfect. The beach was less than two minutes' walk from the apartment and the city center with all kinds of shops was even closer. The apartment itself is quite spacious and the garden with jacuzzi is great. In conclusion, the apartment is in a very good location and is also a nice place to stay.

Amazing place ! Just a beautiful house with comfortable spaces and features , nice touch of the finishing and great atmosphere inside , in the hearth of Sliema ! We will come back

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

From the time of booking, communication with Tina was excellent – fast, helpful and with many useful tips (e.g. restaurant list). When we opened the balcony door, the breathtaking view of Valletta immediately inspired us. The location is ideal: ferries and buses are directly opposite, supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. From the balcony you have a great view of the promenade of Sliema, and yet it is quiet in the apartment - the bedrooms are at the back. If we travel to Malta again, we would book this apartment again immediately. Small note: For Malta, you need an adapter for British sockets (type G).

Pawlu is a fantastic host. Super friendly and helpful. Great with recommendations and clear and easy advice on how to get from the airport and how to check in. Pawlu's place is a real 'home from home' type of place, we all settled in really well and had a fab stay. We'd highly recommend Pawlu's property to others. Marsakala is also a lovely place to stay, away from the main tourist spots, giving you the opportunity to really enjoy Malta as a local. The bus service is also excellent and we had no trouble travelling to various locations around the island. Thanks for having us.

Robert (and his lovely dog Duke!) was an incredible and attentive host. He provided amenities (such as a taxi service from the airport; fruit, bread and water), and helpful directions and recommendations. His apartment was full of charm and felt homey. It was steps to the water, and had views of the Upper Barrakka gardens. I highly recommend Robert’s place, and hope to return soon!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

Lovely place, the location was very good, perfect little and private pool yard. Isa and Jean Paul was very easy and nice to communicate with. The place is located close to a bustop making it very easy to get around Malta

I had a very good stay with my husband and son of 5 months old. We were very happy that we could borrow a baby cot and chair. The appartment and swimming pool were very nice. The communication was very friendly and clear. We had a great time!

Really nice little studio, perfect for a few days away. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Quiet area but still close to everything I wanted. The host was sound and easy to deal with. Overall, had a great stay—would definitely book again.

Overall we had a great stay . The apartment is huge and well positioned, close to beach and restaurants. It is at the top of a very steep hill, fortunately we hired a car. We loved the swimming pool and although not heated once in it was amazing. Chris was brilliant and responded quickly to any issues. Couple of things that would make a great stay brilliant, set of wine glasses, more tea towels, refurb ensuite bathroom, and finally the single beds are fine for children but very uncomfortable for adults. Also some new balcony furniture. We loved Malta and the weather was very kind to us in October.

We stayed for 7 nights here, 6 adults and 4 children and we all had a lovely time. Ray was a brilliant host, advised us of all of the local super markets and places to visit. Took us on a tour of the villa when we got there and explained how everything worked. We were going to rent a car but we decided against it and used the ‘Bolt’ app which is the same as uber. If you are looking for a private villa with a pool, plenty of space and easy for children this is perfect. There are a couple of shops around a 4-5 minute walk from the villa which was handy for the essentials but there is also a good priced super market 5 mins away in a taxi. Although Ray lives next door you don’t actually notice as it’s really private but as he is so approachable and easy to talk to it wouldn’t have been a problem anyway.

This property is a gem, an oasis of calm in the busy town of Tarxiem. The appartment is self contained away from the host's house, with asingle room bed/sitting and diner and an en suite with shower. There is a small kitchenette downstairs, beside the pool. The adjacent pool and poolside is very secluded and private with plenty of space for relaxing and eating. Communicating with Karen was easy and very helpful. We're already hoping to make a return trip sometime.

We had a fantastic holiday at the apartment and we didn’t want to come home. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed. Our 3 year old son loved zooming around the apartment and the space outside and the pool was perfect. Alison was the best host ever, such a lovely person and gave us great recommendations which we really appreciated. She had left plenty of essential groceries for our arrival which was super duper helpful, and even brought us an amazing pizza on our last night too. The location is so handy for shops and we could walk with a pram to restaurants nearby. We found a few local parks for our son to play in within walking distance too. We can’t recommend Alison’s apartment enough, and I’m sure we will come back in the future x
