Cabin holiday rentals in St. Tammany Parish

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

David was a great host with great communication. Would stay at David’s again and would recommend to others.

This cabin wasn’t just a place to stay - it became our own slice of heaven, hidden from the world and steeped in wild beauty. We spent six unforgettable days wrapped in the arms of the forest, swimming and kayaking in the river, picnicking on white sandbanks along the shore, and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. At night, nature's orchestra came alive - crickets, cicadas, and bullfrogs in a powerful, primal chorus. We sat by the fire, totally immersed and in awe of it all. The cabin is rustic, simple, and soulful... not five-star hotel luxury, but something far deeper. Yes, there are bugs, and yes, you’ll get a few bites - but the magic makes it more than worth it. (Dab bites with alcohol and carry on!) Krista, our host, was amazing - present if needed, but respectful of our solitude. We grilled dinner, boiled shrimp over the fire, and got engaged here. This place will forever hold our hearts. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is beautifully decorated, great amenities, attention to every single detail and all you need for a perfect home away from home. Incredibly clean, too. Our dog loved swimming in the pond and discovering the outdoors. Enjoyed having coffee in the mornings on the front porch looking at the beautiful landscape while listening to the wild life. Highly recommend it!

The log cabin is extremely clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The downstairs bed was incredibly comfy (we didn’t even need the upstairs, though it looked amazing!), and the kitchen had everything we needed. The vibe? Total peace and quiet—just what we hoped for. We stayed put most of the time, soaking in the woods, blueberries, and deer (we counted 29!). It’s wonderfully secluded, so be ready to enjoy nature’s soundtrack. Morning coffee on the couch or patio was perfection. The fire pit is stocked and ready—we’ll definitely use it next time. Bill & Karen are awesome hosts: warm, responsive, and non-intrusive. We celebrated our 30th—our “pearl” anniversary—in this true "pearl" of a place in "Pearl" River. One of our all-time favorite Airbnb stays. Thank you! We look forward to coming back again!

This is a beautiful place to stay, nestled in the woods draped in Spanish moss, yet just off the major thoroughfare I was traveling. It is inside an RV park and all the other campers there are SUPER friendly, but mind their own business. Nick upgraded us to the 2 bedroom cabin after our first stay at no extra cost and that was such a blessing! (Of course, the boys refused to share a bedroom, so I still ended up on the sofa bed, but it is quite comfy)! Enjoyed cooking in the full-sized kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Mama D’s Pizza is a MUST. Everything was spotless, area was peaceful, the AC worked a charm in the Louisiana heat, and they were so friendly. If you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT!!

Wonderful long weekend at the perfect home away from home! The house was beautiful inside and out! Fresh and clean with great bathrooms, big cozy beds and bedrooms and a kitchen/living area with a peaceful southern view! Outside had easy parking, lots of native trees and a big front porch to enjoy a cup of coffee on! Far enough away from town to have a quiet place to enjoy with your family. Close enough to several towns to enjoy some great restaurants, shopping and fishing for us! Will was an excellent host! He kept us updated with anything we needed to know and was always reachable! Fantastic place!

Loved loved loved our stay! The cabin was super clean and very private. We loved the property and access to the creek. Only bad thing was having to leave! We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get away, relax, and enjoy nature.
