Apartment holiday rentals in Stadlandet

We recently stayed 4 nights in this lovely penthouse apartment. Was everything we had hoped for and was as described. In a quiet historic art nouveau street just one street back from the quayside. A modern apartment in a lovely historic building with architectural features. We dined at the Tandoori Indian restaurant next door twice ($$$) and at the XL Diner ($$$$$) by the quayside and had a great experience at both. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs but they are very wide & sturdy and gave us no problem with luggage, Wifi (100Mbps) was great. Would love to stay there again. Lars’s place sets a high bar for Air BnBs! This place was decorated with a clean, elegant, modern style. It had the perfect balance of detail and space which allowed us to feel at home and have the ability to spread out and unpack to our comfort level. We also had the best sleep of our entire trip in this bed! The blackout curtains are very effective and the bed and room are very cozy and clean. We didn’t need the extra bedroom, but it seemed nice. The bathroom was warmed up and clean- like a modern sauna! The shower was hot with great pressure and nice soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to cool a meal and we really enjoyed the coffee. I especially liked the nook overlooking the water- it was a perfect spot for reflection. The location was very peaceful and quiet too! Lars was a great and communicative host. I hope we can come back someday!

Great apartment, at a convenient spot.

Great place to live at. Town is of course good and cozy and so is the Airbnb. Alex was a great host and responded quickly for doubts or guidance. We are from US and it was just as expected- also, electric car charger. Thanks a lot for this place. Love Ålesund.

Nice and cozy apartment, big kitchen and a nice terrace. Linda responded quickly to questions and gave good instructions. In short, we had a very nice stay

Nice little bolt hole, ideal for two for a short stay. Igvars was very responsive and gave clear instructions to park, check in etc. Free parking was a big bonus.

The place is nicely decorated with old and new furniture and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped with nice pans and kitchenware. View from the house and from the courtyard is fabulous 🤩. Beds were very comfortable with nice bed linen. Everything was given in the bathroom. Overall I recommend this place for an excellent stay.

Loved it so much, Andreas was great about my weird schedule for check-in and check-out. The apartment was adorable and the perfect size for me. Also had a binder with personal recommendations for restaurants and cafes, and a few suggestions on popular activities which was fantastic. 10/10, I hope I can book with them again on my next visit to Norway ^^

This is a fabulous place to stay when visiting Alesund. It is well furnished, has a great kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is nicely laid out and the shower is excellent. It’s close enough to town to walk everywhere, yet just enough outside of the tourist area that it’s quiet. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.

A standout experience during our time in Norway! Place was beautiful and clean, well set up for a stay. We thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the grass. Would absolutely recommend !

Communication with Synnøve was very good, she let us in earlier! The clean and very cozy house. If you are going with suitcases note that Google Maps will take you up very steep stairs, look for an alternative! For everything else great!

We enjoyed our stay at Irenegaarden and would love to come again. Lauvsted is an adventurous place, it is easy to use the ferry to and from Volda. The house is cozy furnished, especially we enjoyed the covered terrace and sauna. In the house is everything you might need, otherwise Frode comes with things that you didn't even know you were missing. Lauvsted and surrounding area are more beautiful than beautiful and offer all kinds of nature experiences. Frode and Silje are the perfect hosts and some totally exceptionally welcoming and friendly people.

Monica and Ivar are great hosts. they are very welcoming and helpful. The stay is very nice and cozy and with all the amenities. There is a bus stand just right outside the house and it takes only 15 minutes to go to Alesund central. The view from the house is also a bonus.

This Airbnb was well beyond our expectations in all points! Anne Karin and Jarle welcomed us with happiness and treated us as if we were family, which they also became for us in our eyes! The Airbnb was spacious, with all the necessary amenities and the view… amazing! This trip was simply unforgettable and we thank Anne Karin and Jarle again for all they did for us :)

Fantastic place and hospitality

Out of the ordinary! Apt on the pier with boat, fishing equipment, crab rabbits, own crab cooker, wetsuits, etc. The apartment was unusually well equipped and the location couldn't be better. In addition, all of this above, which gave the stay lots of experience and character . We would gladly came back!

Authentic old fish farm with 5 well insulated and warm units. No heating in the common areas, but beautiful and undisturbed outdoor areas! Possibility of renting a boat with fishing equipment, many good fishing opportunities. Great beaches and hiking nearby, and good facilities in Kalvåg 5 km away.

This downstairs apartment is very useable and is in a well maintained yard and surroundings where you can sit and relax and enjoy a great view and soak up the sunshine. The town sentrum is a 20min walk away and there is lots to see and do there including the Viking museum and replica Viking boat. For me it was a good central location for day trips.

Very nice place. Flexible and easy check-in, everything ready when we arrived and as described. Nice view and short distance to the center of Ulsteinvik. Will gladly return
