The lovely veranda expands the living space, and the view is unique. Right next to the cottage, the gate provides access to the forest and heath of the Drentsche Aa, a magical atmosphere. In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Stadskanaal is located on the outskirts of Drenthe and Westerwolde. From here, you can reach the city of Groningen or Assen within 45 minutes by car. Leer or Oldenburg in Germany is also within reasonable reach. From Stadskanaal, there are beautiful cycling routes in Drenthe or Westerwolde. The fortified town of Bourtange is of course also worth a visit. Stadskanaal has restaurants, supermarkets, etc.

Welcome to De Herkberg! In the front house of our farm, we have a fully equipped apartment where you can enjoy a wonderful stay. Rural, quiet, with a beautiful view over the De Branden nature reserve. There, you can regularly see geese, Hereford cows, and a beautiful sunset in the evening. The apartment itself is wonderfully bright, neat, and cozily furnished.
