In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Estate in the center of Assen

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Hoeve Hunzedal is situated near many nature reserves, such as the Hunzedal, the Drentse Aa, and the Hondsrug (UNESCO), making it the perfect base for wonderful walking and cycling tours (free bicycle storage available). And for a fee, there are also e-bikes/motorboats available, with beautiful cycling routes. With great amusement parks nearby

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

Stadskanaal is located on the outskirts of Drenthe and Westerwolde. From here, you can reach the city of Groningen or Assen within 45 minutes by car. Leer or Oldenburg in Germany is also within reasonable reach. From Stadskanaal, there are beautiful cycling routes in Drenthe or Westerwolde. The fortified town of Bourtange is of course also worth a visit. Stadskanaal has restaurants, supermarkets, etc.
