Great stay in a rustic barn with tremendous character! Anita went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our Christmas get together. It was a challenge to cook for 12 in the small kitchen but it was very well equipped. We loved the beds & bedding - very comfortable! Would definitely stay again :)

We had a lovely stay. The Annex provided a comfortable and pleasant environment. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. We would happily recommend this Annex to others. There are also extra towels for the hot tub and blankets for the garden. We can highly recommend Emma as a host. She was very helpful, offered us fresh milk for morning coffee, and recommended great places for food, etc. The information book was also very helpful.

what a wonderful, quaint place we booked! It was the most perfect idyllic location for the eve of our best friends wedding. we as bridesmaids with the bride felt at home and could relax just around the corner from the wedding venue. It was an ideal setting for our makeup artist to start our wedding prep on the big day. It was a clean house and felt so cosy. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful from booking to departure. A definite must book.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It is absolutely stunning. Wanted for nothing extremely well equipped and Helen and Peter are wonderful friendly people. Having stopped at many places this is one that I’d have not hesitation recommending or revisiting. The place is an absolute credit to the hosts, they’ve created something very special. Nicola's place is an amazing place to stay and we felt right at home. The lazy spa was a great addition as well as all the little touches! We had a lovely relaxing stay and would highly recommend to everyone.

Caroline was a great host and very helpful. She went to the road and waved to us when we got stuck on the location and phoned from the petrol station. She provided us with yummy Bakewell tarts and was very friendly.

Lovely, peaceful location with walks in the Derbyshire Dales on the doorstep. Great English and Continental breakfast that set us up for the day. Useful recommendations from Hil for local places to eat. Would stay again and recommend.

We stayed for one night at Julie's. Julie was an extremely friendly and welcoming host. Julie was extremely flexible and allowed us to check in slightly earlier than planned which was greatly appreciated. The room was fantastic, providing plenty of privacy and a comfortable stay. The location is close to the centre of Stafford (around one mile). It is close to a bus route if needed. We would certainly recommend a stay with Julie and we will return for another stay the next time we are in the area.

Anna was a great host, always available on the phone. The Annexe is beautiful and perfect for a trip to Birmingham. The garden is peaceful and the view from the living room is unexpected being so close to the city centre. I would definitely recommend.

Friendly, generous host who made us feel very welcome. Property contained everything you could need. Extremely clean and tidy and a great base for visiting Bridgnorth and the surrounding area, and everything it has to offer. A very generous host who went out of her way to provide everything for our visit.

This place is in a quiet rural area next to a National Trust protected forest. Whichever way you look there are trees to see. John, the host, welcomed me upon arrival, made me a cup of tea and chatted with me, made me very comfortable. My room was very clean and comfortable. John helped me with planning my sightseeing and dining out. I had a great stay here.

Wow what a beautiful place. This property has everything you could possibly need and is just perfect for relaxing, taking in nature and appreciating some down time. I love the fact the hosts are eco conscious and this shows in their choice of products. The garden was so peaceful and lots of fun for my two boys and adventurous puppy. There’s no TV but this property has so much to keep you entertained, board games, an amazing array of books even bubbles for the children. We used the sauna which was lovely and so spacious, and Taz even left ice water for us. The bed was super comfy. If I had to give any negatives it would be the lack of cushions on the outdoor furniture and I didn’t see a hammock, although I’m sure if I had asked Taz for cushions she would of provided these no problem but we just used the bench table down by the canal. We will definitely be returning!

We loved all the amenities, especially the kitchen. Loved all the books, nice and spacious, everything we could want was there. Loved all the skylights which made it airy. Well stocked in terms of crockery, cutlery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay here. The village is beautiful, and well equipped with pubs! We had a delicious dinner at the Farmyard Inn which was a 10/15 minute walk from the house, there is a pub less than 5 minutes walk away however. It is only a 10 minute drive into Bakewell down some very scenic country lanes. The room itself was super cosy, we had everything we needed, including a smart TV so we could binge watch Charmed in the evening. We were welcomed in person, Phil and Diane are both super friendly and helpful, Ben their dog, is absolutely gorgeous and loved a fuss. There was homemade sourdough bread on the side when we checked in, along with freshly picked strawberries from their garden, drinks, butter, the list goes on, we felt very cared for and appreciated it greatly. We didn't use the sauna but it looked brilliant. Overall we would definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

This is a hidden gem just outside an old urban industrial landscape. Lovely rural views in a rural setting yet so close to the pottery museums and amenities. The selfcontained Annex is private, clean and well equipped with secure parking. We feel very fortunate we booked it.

We had a great stay at John’s place. Booked at short notice for a family party nearby, after a previous booking cancelled last minute. From the start, John was responsive and informative. We found his place with no bother (thanks to his instructions!), and he kindly was flexible with checking, so we could arrive before heading to the party. The place is spacious, and as described. A great place for 3 generations, we had everything we needed and John was on hand to answer any questions. All in all, a great place to stay and we wished we’d had more time to spend there!
