Wow! We had an incredible stay at the Cabin @ Atlow Mill. The whole set up at Atlow Mill is beautiful and without fault. James was helpful from the start, sending us clear instructions, information and even offering flexible check in. When we arrived, James greeted us - even insisting on carrying our suitcases to the cabin ☺️. James showed us around the cabin, explained where everything was and showed us how to use everything. James also provided really helpful tips for walking routes, parking, where to eat etc. The cabin itself is immaculate, finished to an incredibly high standard and well stocked with all you could need - even Prosecco ☺️. As per one of James’ recommendations, we walked across the sheep fields into Hognaston and enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Red Lion. We also enjoyed a trip to Carsington with a long walk around the reservoir. We could not praise or recommend the cabin at Atlow Mill, and James & Chloe as hosts, more highly. We hope to be back again soon!

This lodge is such a gem in a beautiful peaceful location yet with loads on the doorstep. Instructions to get there were very helpful, hot tub was ready for us on arrival and the lodge was so beautifully equipped and plenty big enough for 4. We spent a beautiful evening on the deck with a Chinese takeaway delivered by the recommended place nearby. To wake up in this location was such a treat. Weekend was rounded off by a Sunday lunch at the Boars Head as recommended by Janet. Comms from Janet were quick and friendly throughout. Could not fault this place and I hope to return.

amazing hosts. lovely private place, has everything you would want and more. very well looked after place. the hosts make lovely gestures for your stay. it is very quiet and private aswell. will be visiting in the future again

my stay at the cabin was lovely, definitely exceeded my expectations, was very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Hottub was amazing aswell, just what i needed to relax and unwind, would definitely recommend to others.

Qas was a great host and communicated clearly throughout. The property was clean, private, and well equipped exactly as described. The hot tub was relaxing and the outdoor space was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

The Hut had everything you needed for a weekend away. Sits in a beautiful location and is very peaceful. Clean, tidy and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Great little place tucked away on acres of land with hot tub and all amenities you need. The shower was brilliant!! Ideal for a peaceful break even if just for 2 nights. The pictures do make it look slightly bigger but that’s not a complaint as it was lovely and cozy and we didn’t actually need anything bigger 😊

A truly beautiful stay! We had such a lovely time at the cabin. The place is architecturally stunning, thoughtfully designed with a calming aesthetic that made it feel really special from the moment we arrived. I visited with my mum and our two dogs, and it was the perfect escape. The enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs, we could relax knowing they were safe and happy running around. We also loved walking along the nearby canals and taking lots of photos; the area is incredibly scenic and peaceful. Our host was fantastic, friendly, responsive, and made everything really easy for us. We felt very welcome and looked after. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly getaway in a beautiful setting. Would definitely stay again!

Gordon is a super host with great place to stay. We felt right at home. Nice place to take your dog walking along the public footpaths.

The stay we had a the Cabin was our first time away together. The cabin was spotless and the scenery was magical. The whole experience was just perfect and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much.

Absolutely amazing, hot tub was an added bonus. Sarah was really helpful gave us a good few places to visit for our stay. The cozy cabin we had was on the end and waking up to the cows on the field was a new experience which was a fun one. Loved the idea of the fire pit. After a long soak in the tub coming out to dry by the fire pit while watching the stars was amazing. Will definitely be back

Host was very good at providing information about the local area which I had asked questions about. A lovely Lodge and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a long day at Alton Towers. We would stay here again.

Easy to get into the shepherds hut. Only thing we didn’t realise and must have missed was that you need £1 for a 5 minute shower (and we’d used our coins for the deposit). We were told at check out that we could have called the site number and they would have helped us out. As we were only staying a night we made do without. Communal shower/toilet block was clean.

Dean responded quickly to all queries. The property was private, immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. Open air pool and steam railway very local.

The hut was amazing for our anniversary! Excellent location with stunning views and easy access to lud's church through public footpaths. The hut was well equipped with everything we needed and we were kindly left a huge chocolate roulade with fresh cream to enjoy on arrival which was such a nice touch. It was so peaceful and the setting was perfect with the loudest thing we heard being an owl and the grazing cows. We hope to be back again!

Lovely accommodation, cosy and welcoming. Beds, sheets, duvets very comfortable and excellent quality. Very, very clean which is always so nice for guests. The farm was peaceful and relaxing with all the animals around. Julie was lovely and so helpful. Excellent positioning for our visit. thanks

Gorgeous views and a cosy high spec cottage. Robert was responsive and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They had left us some treats too which was lovely.

We booked the cabin as a place near West Midlands safari and didn’t expect too much as it was so reasonably priced. It’s a beautiful secluded cabin with everything you need for a short stay. Dawn and husband and their lovely dog Red are very welcoming but not at all intrusive. The surrounding areas are beautiful and the village serves a good choice of delicious food. Overall a fantastic stay!!

Fantastic retreat for a group of girls. The place had everything and more. So peaceful and private, great facilities with the hot tub and we really appreciated how well equipped the place was, from marshmallows and fire wood to separate towels for the hot tub and shower. We absolutely loved it!

It was only a 1 night stay but it's an amazing property v peaceful, pristine and has everything there for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Having an 11am checkout was a bonus too so could have an extra hour to relax

We stayed in Antlers Lodge and it was just perfect for what we needed. Relaxing, comfortable and everything you need for a short break. The place is very clean, bed comfortable and the bath is just amazing. I can imagine this place is absolutely beautiful in the winter too. Barbara and her husband are very thoughtful and attentive. Thank you we will definitely book again.
