Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stalida

We were eight women who spent a week at Villa Rodea. Had an amazing time, the view is wonderful and we had an uncomplicated care by the Komos team. We'll be back.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

We had a very nice stay, the house was so lovely, with everything provided even a cleaning service. Restaurants and beach clubs can be reach by foot (approximately 10 min walk). There is a very nice traditional village near the house with excellent restaurants (approximately 15 min walk). But most of all thank you very much Stefani for everything you were so nice and helpful, really many thanks everything was perfect thanks to you 🙏🏼 ☺️

The house is beautiful (just like the photos) and the pool is awesome — it’s heated just enough to make it enjoyable all day. The space was perfect for my party of 12, plenty of space for everyone. What really makes this place stand out is Celine, who meets guests on arrival. We had a health emergency when we arrived, and Celine was just incredible — driving us to a clinic, helping us get care at the hospital when we had to go there, checking in with us about our child’s health everyday. We are eternally grateful for her!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

We had a great week of family at the Promachon Villa. The villa is very big and specious, highky maintained very well eqipped. Stella and her husband were really great hosts. They responded very fast to any request we had. The swimming pool is rather big and lovely. The house is located on an isolayed and quiet area 10-12 minutes drive from the city center. On behalf of all 13 members of the Zakay family I would like to thank you Stella for giving us such an incredible family vacation. We would really love to come back again. Ef christo Stella!🙂

The house was bigger and better than what we thought from the photos. Antonis is quick to respond and quickly sorted out if needed. Recommended! Short distance to most, but you should have a car.

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

We had a great stay here. The apartment was super clean and was exactly as described. We had a rental car and were able to find some street parking close by. It was quiet at night and had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend.

This was our 4th stay at Giannis' place and as always it was perfect. The property is exactly as pictured and described, so comfortable, with amazing outdoor space and everything you need (great WiFi, smart TV, great shower, plenty of towels and bed linen, etc). The outdoor space is the major selling point, with lots of different relaxing areas, plenty of shade, and a fabulous pool. And stunning views to boot! Agios Myron is a lovely little town: if you go please make sure to visit the local bar, restaurant, bakery and shop, all run by lovely people. Looking forward to returning again next year!

My family had the best time at Alexanderos place. I am a remote worker and so was the perfect quiet environment to work while watching my daughter have a great time in the pool. the house is spotlessly clean, as is the pool and Alexanderos really cares that you are having a good experience. You can tell this buisness means a lot to him. A little ginger and white cat came to visit us every day for 10 min. My daughter is cat crazy and so that little guy made her holiday. If you see him give him a snack 🥰 You need a car to stay here really, but that is part of the beauty of the villa. You're remote, quiet and private. Exactly what we wanted. However if you want to go out, youre 10-15 min drive from some great beach restaurants. I suppose, if you're happy to stay in and relax, you could manage not having a car but we like to get out and about. Overall an absolute excellent place and im so glad we chose Alexanderos' place over other options!

Kostis’ apartment is cozy, clean and extremely well located. The terrace is spectacular, offering great views of the ocean and an amazing sunset. We truly appreciated Kostis’ hospitality, always one step ahead of our needs with timely communication and great local recommendations.

We had an excellent stay! The apartment was really great, very big and with everything we need. Super well located, we can walk to everywhere in the center. Harry was very responsive and although we couldn’t be there for the check-in, we went there a bit later to say hi. We really appreciate! :)

Audrey was really helpful sorting out transfers and a shopping for when we arrived. The villa and pool area is decorated to a very high standard. We would thoroughly recommend visiting it is a great holiday location

Linda's daughter Sorcha greeted us from start to finish and was a fantastic host. Aside from the fact that the property was as advertised in every way, some of the best parts of our trip came from her recommendations. Great apartment with a great view of the entire city of Malia. Location private and alone on the mountainside above Malia, should/must have a car due to the location on the mountainside. Very kind and welcoming host who is easily accessible on the phone. Many great restaurants in the old town just below the mountainside. We've had a wonderful few weeks here.

Amazing stay and Eva was so so helpful- we had a wonderful time and wish we stayed longer!

Staying at Sunterra feels like being an honored guest at a Seaside Cretan Villa. My accommodation was lovely and private. Sofia left honey, treats and the best olive oil from her family estate. She checked on me often without being intrusive. I slept to the sounds of the Cretan Sea and the pool is world class. This is one of the best places to stay in the area. Great communication from Anna who met us personally and provided helpful online guide. Stayed in apartment 10, whilst compact it was comfortable and had everything we needed and beautifully decorated. The location is up a hill with fabulous views from the terraces and pool area. Clean pool and warm enough to swim in mid May. Designated parking a short walk from the apartments. Lovely shaded garden terrace as well where we had breakfast enjoying the view and the cats! Highly recommend and would stay again

We really enjoyed our stay in Thomais´resort. Thomais did everything to make us feel welcome and welcomed us with homemade cooking and wine. Located on the mountain top the distance to shopping and restaurants is several kilometers, but excellent taxi service solved this so we dropped our plans to rent a car.
