Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Stalos

ComfiNest was exactly what we pictured from the listing - nothing hidden. Special touch was the huge basket of welcome gifts on arrival. A studio flat within easy walking distance to everything in Chania, but out of the way enough that you don’t feel you’re in the middle of all the tourists. The patio was great but does get slightly hot in the middle of the day (to be expected in June). Parking was a bit of a worry, but we were lucky enough to find spots at the Theatre parking near the old city walls a 5m walk away.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for 5 days and were very please with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. Highlighted is the beautiful terrace with Jacuzzi. The location is great. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is quietly located. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

If we had to describe this house in one word: wow! What a fantastic place. The house itself, the jacuzzi… everything is right. If you really want to escape the hustle and bustle, this is definitely a top choice. Within 10 minutes, you can be at wonderful beach clubs, at nice restaurants or in the nightlife, exactly what you are looking for during a holiday if you ask us. The fruit trees around the house provide a feeling of tranquility. Really beautiful! We were genuinely sorry to leave, but we will definitely come back. Also a big compliment to the owner: what a service! We had forgotten something, and he did everything he could to get it back to us. Thank you again for the great service and the great stay. The apartment itself was clean, cozy and well equipped even for long time stays (we had a total of 9 nights at Despina‘s apartment). We could warmly recommend this place to you!

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

What an amazing property near Chania! Our family absolutely loved the place, and the views cannot be beat. Being able to see the ocean and feel the warm breeze every morning on the balcony was so special. It was also very close to the Agia Marina and Platanias beach that we went to everyday; old town Chania was just 20mins away. Nikki was a great host and so responsive, she was able to answer all our questions. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

We LOVED our stay at Butterfly, and felt sad when we left! We came to Crete for a week for a birthday celebration, and wanted to be a little out of the tourist areas. Our check in was seamless, and Theo from Muses travel was always contactable to help us out with anything. The WiFi wasn’t working properly when we got there, and everyone went out of their way to get it fixed for us. The village of Armeni was beautiful and had an excellent mini market (shoutout to Niko), and a couple of great restaurants. Rethymno is a beautiful city which is just 10 minutes away. There were four of us so it was reasonably priced to hire a driver for our day trips, so we saw Knossos and Heraklion, and then also took a day trip to Spili, Agia Galini and Matala. If we ever get back to Crete would LOVE to return to Butterfly.🦋

Our family of four stayed in this incredible villa during our trip, and everything was exactly as described—if not better! Effie was in constant communication, always kind and incredibly thoughtful. We were welcomed with a basket of fresh fruit and wine, and she even stopped by with homemade Easter cookies. Her hospitality made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!

A lovely villa - looked exactly like the photos. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children and there was room for all of us. Kitchen was big enough with every utensil (and more) you could think of. Our host was there to greet us and was always responsive when needed ( 2 small issues both quickly resolved). A lovely welcome basket of food/drink etc was a nice touch. I would not say a car is essential - its less than 10 mins walk to several lovely restaurants and a nice little beach. However the nearest proper supermarket is 30-40 mins walk although its only a 10 euro taxi back and youll save more than that as the local shop (2 mins down the hill) is only really any good for fresh bread and emergency supplies! The outside/pool area in villa was roomy and the inside hot tub/sauna were well used. My only advice would be to have some sun loungers on the terrace outside main bedroom as that did seem wasted space although lovely views of the mountains and the sea. We would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the garden and pool were taken care of daily — such a luxury! Our host was friendly, always available, and quick to help with anything we needed. He also shared great local tips and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. We felt truly welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Beautiful well equipped house in a perfect location within easy walking distance of a supermarket, beach and restaurants. What makes this house absolutely exceptional is the host, Stavros. He couldn’t have been more welcoming, meeting us with some very welcoming groceries including his homemade wine and olive oil. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Stavros for making our stay so perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Crete! The location was absolutely perfect—centrally positioned on the island, it made exploring both the east and west sides, as well as all the nearby towns, super convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. The grounds were impeccably maintained and much larger than the photos portray. One of the highlights was the charming taverna right next door, and there were plenty of other great restaurants less than 10 minutes away by car. The warm hospitality from everyone we met made it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to Crete.

The villa was pretty extraordinary overall. We've stayed in villas on a number of Greek islands over the last 12 years and this was the best on most counts. The interior was comfortable and spacious, really light and airy. There were only two of us, but I doubt it would be crowded with 6. A huge amount of kitchen equipment (you name it, the kitchen had it), all appliances seemed nearly new and of great quality. Showers with good supplies of hot water and strong pressure. The outside is fantastic - the pool is huge and the perfect depth throughout (maybe not ok for young children, with no shallow end). Plenty of comfortable seats and sun loungers, umbrellas for shade. The jacuzzi is a great bonus and is really high quality. Huge grounds and some lovely flowers. All windows have shutters so bedrooms could be made very dark overnight. We weren't interrupted at all through the week but whenever we had a question we received a rapid response. I can't think of anything negative to say!

The listing matches the photos as well as the services / accessories. Very large living room and very nice exteriors. Well located for exploring the west of Crete. Not very nice weather during our stay in Crete. We were limited by the cold in the space which is not easy to heat. But I imagine this problem is rare in Crete. The A/C seemed to work very well and it's more often useful.

Incredible villa! Gorgeous view, peaceful and private. Great architecture and interior design. The host was generous to greet us on arrival, and even stocked the fridge!
