Low Muffles Bridge, North Yorkshire Moors

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful, we were immersed in nature. This is a really special place, after a week there we felt more relaxed than we have been in years. It is a very healing and restorative experience to spend a week here, surrounded by moors and forests, hearing the owls at night, seeing the stars and just feeling utterly joyful to be alive. The house is also very well stocked, a fantastic kitchen with everything you need to cook great meals, comfy beds, nice hot water and even a laundry room. Lovely walks in every direction and so much to explore. If you feel exhausted and burnt out and need time to recover, this is the answer!

Romantic Cottage with Hot Tub & Countryside Views

PaulRating, 5 stars4 days ago
One of the best Airbnb cottages we have stayed in…recently decorated, tasteful furnishings, lovely gardens and everything we needed for our stay. It is a 30min walk into town, but is a flat walk along the old railway track so an easy stroll. We went to Beadlam Grange Cafe for breakfast which is a 5-10min stroll from the cottage too.

Hidden Family Farm Paradise- near York & the Coast

we had a great stay at Rachel's place, a beautiful property in such a peaceful and quiet setting, very private with a lovely hottub overlooking gorgeous views, comfortably within driving distance of many coastal towns also which we took advantage of, Rachel herself was a great host being very understanding when we accidentally broke a mirror whilst staying there which we really appreciated, can't recommend this place enough! thank you Rachel!

Rectory Farm cottage is a beautiful little cottage in a wonderfully isolated village on the edge of the moors yet only a few miles from Pickering. Michael was a great host. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Secluded shepherd’s hut in private meadow & forest

PhilRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My wife and I love the outdoors, so this was the perfect opportunity to experience the great British countryside and truly switch off. From the moment we arrived, we could see the thought that had gone into the location of the hut. The personal touches and the interior design (the colours, materials, features), the shepherds hut has been thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you’re part of the environment (while keeping cosy and warm!) Lying in bed, with a coffee, looking out over unobstructed views of a pine forest was a highlight. Another highlight was a walk that Harriet suggested, where wild garlic and bluebells cover the forest floor and valleys open up before you, providing a perfect spot for a picnic. If you love being off the beaten track too, we highly recommend this delightful shepherd's hut!

The Nook

Thank you for a lovely stay. Extremely tranquil and relaxing, very clean, not too expensive. The surrounding forest is breathtaking and the hosts extremely nice, we appreciate all the recommendations for activities in the area. Most importantly, couldn't imagine a better place to take our dog to. 10/10
