Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Stellenbosch Central

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

Had a great stay, with a great location, within walking distance to the Main Street for stores and restaurants. Also very helpful arrival/leaving instructions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

This is absolutely the perfect place to stay in Franschhoek! I enjoyed the beautiful mountain views while still being close to town. There are lovely places to eat nearby, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. The place was very clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

What a privilege to stay at Julie’s place! The setting is gorgeous, hard to tear yourself away and go do the countless wonderful things available to do in the area. Right next to a small game farm with springbok, zebra,nyala. Located on a vibrant working vineyard, nestled in a refulgent colorful garden with a backdrop of stunning mountains. Everything you could want or need provided- even a cozy wood burning stove for winter evenings. Treat yourselves to the short hike up to the reservoir and swim in that secluded and majestic spot. Great birdlife. Overall excellent!

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay! The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wineries and mountain while being conveniently close to town. It was the ideal setting for exploring the local attractions and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I can confidently say that Mongoose Manor is the best place to stay in Franschhoek, whether it is summer or winter. We booked MM for a long weekend & had intended to spend our time hiking, but didn’t get further than a decadent lunch at Protégé, followed by a few hours in the local bookstore, after which we curled up in front of the crackling fireplace in the lounge & read. MM has become our place we escape to when feeling depleted & needing to nourish our souls. There’s nothing quite like lying in that enormous bed & watching a thunderstorm roll over the mountains in the distance, or sipping a glass of wine on the patio while observing the abundance of bird life or the hilariously mischievous squirrels outsmarting the local cat. Caro & Peer are unfailingly kind & generous, & the cottage is always stocked with yummy treats, but should you want to venture out, you are a 15mins walk from some of the top restaurants in SA & the high street. It honestly doesn’t get better than this.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! It’s tastefully decorated, thoughtfully equipped, and had so many extra amenities that made our visit really comfortable. The host and her family were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel at home and gave us great local tips. We especially appreciated the extra touches to accommodate our son and baby. It made traveling with little ones so much easier. The location is convenient yet peaceful, on a quiet street with a lovely garden. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place to stay.

We loved our stay here! The ocean views were amazing and a perfect spot outside of Cape Town but not too far. Easy to drive to neighboring towns.

Great place, very safe, nice kitchen, cozy bedrooms, comfortable living room with access to terrace and barbecue grill, private and secure parking. Security 24/7 and cameras. 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and 3 minutes driving to supermarkets and restaurants

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Wieneke's place is a fantastic space. The views are hard to beat, absolutely stunning and lovely to hear the ocean. Loved having my morning coffee in the sun on the balcony. Wieneke is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Will definitely book her place again! 100% recommend 👍🏻

What a great spot with easy access to the beach or pools. In winter, you have the ever changing sea views but due to the recessed position less noise. It was a relaxing sanctuary after our work days and Liz was an attentive hostess, arranging an easier parking for our large car … For those who struggle with mobility there are steps to the well appointed unit.

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!
