Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stellenbosch

Lovely space after a day spent in the mountains! Two fires to enjoy, and the most comfortable bed and linen! enjoyed our time and would stay again. Walked around the land a bit, picked a couple of lemons off the bountiful trees, and enjoyed a movie by the fire with dinner made on the outdoor braai/bbq. Vicki was very responsive and the property felt very private and well kitted out.

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay with Stunning Views! My stay at Caren’s Airbnb (Mountain View) on their beautiful working wine farm, Yonder Hill, was unforgettable. The views of the Helderberg are breathtaking — perfect for morning coffee or evening wind-downs. The property was spotless, stylish, and fully equipped with everything from a very well stocked kitchen to high-speed Wi-Fi and comfy beds. The en-suite bathrooms are new, well appointed and stocked with everything you need. There are little extras everywhere, and these small things really matter and make all the difference. Caren & Daniel were fantastic hosts: welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout. I was in SA for family business which is usually quite stressful, but staying at Mountain View left me feeling relaxed and recharged. Though I travelled alone, the space would easily suit a family of four. Bonus: the night sky was incredible — I even saw Starlink pass overhead! A true gem. Highly recommended with no hesitation.

Had a great stay, with a great location, within walking distance to the Main Street for stores and restaurants. Also very helpful arrival/leaving instructions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

It was not only clean but also inviting, making it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with Ann was exceptional. She was quick to respond and went out of her way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making it all the more enjoyable. Amazing place!! Great location and quite! 10min walk to the central

What a great place in the heart of Stellenbosch. Three of the city’s most popular restaurants right on the doorstep and others close by. Also within easy walking distance of the shops you need to visit and supermarkets. This is the apartment to have if you want to be where the action is. It is a bit noisy because of the location, but it’s a good noise - people having fun! Thank you Cherice for helping us have a great time in Stellies.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Wikje’s place, and once again I was so impressed! I have stayed in both the loft and the guest room now, and both are super clean, comfortable and beautifully done.

Absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful studio apartment! Sophia was an exceptional host—extremely responsive and attentive. She arranged cleaning services for us with just a two-day notice, and the cleaning was absolutely spotless at an affordable rate. The apartment’s central location is ideal, with a lovely restaurant right next door and plenty of cafes and shops within walking distance. I always felt safe throughout my stay, thanks to the security features: an alarm system, a security guard on site at night and weekends, and secure parking. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and safe stay in Stellenbosch!

We loved our stay here! The ocean views were amazing and a perfect spot outside of Cape Town but not too far. Easy to drive to neighboring towns.

La casa está muy bien ubicada con muchos restaurantes y locales cerca. Zona tranquila y segura con parking cerrado. La casa es ideal para pasar más de una semana, bellamente decorada, tiene una terraza-balcón que x el corto tiempo no usamos pero es bella.

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Wieneke's place is a fantastic space. The views are hard to beat, absolutely stunning and lovely to hear the ocean. Loved having my morning coffee in the sun on the balcony. Wieneke is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Will definitely book her place again! 100% recommend 👍🏻

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!
