Apartment holiday rentals in Stora Essingen

On arrival, we found Albin's apartment to be very clean and fresh and true to the Airbnb description. The neighbourhood is pleasant and there are supermarkets, a Systembolaget and a metro station only about 1 km away. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here. Our only concern was that the toilet is quite cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for a taller person.

Nice stay outside of Stockholm. Location: beautiful view and easy to reach by a train followed by a tram but plus a 10min walk including a steep hill. Otherwise easy to reach by car. Stay: quality fittings and plenty of space for 2. A 3rd person can sleep on a camping bed.

I had such a lovely 3-week stay at Nedim’s Airbnb! The apartment was just as pictured—clean, cozy, and in a super convenient location close to everything I needed, but still quiet and peaceful at night. What really stood out, though, was Nedim’s hospitality. He went above and beyond to check in regularly throughout my stay, making sure I had everything I needed and felt comfortable the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. I’m so grateful for such a smooth, welcoming stay and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

Nina's place is a well kept and stylish little place in a quiet part of town. With the hornsberg strand just down the road and the metro a short walk away it is perfect for those looking to stay just outside the heart of the city. Can't fault it all.

Pia's place is a little gem, located within easy walking distance of the bus stop it's perfect secluded place to explore Stockholm from. We had a great time and felt right at home in the house, given the heatwave then the balcony and BBQ were both very useful.

We had a great stay in Stockholm based out of Olof's apartment in Vasastan! It was easy to get about the other areas of the city on the subway which was a 5-10 min walk from the apartment. Nice bars and restaurants nearby too so didn't have to go further into town every night :-)

loved this place!! I stayed here for a long weekend with a friend and the hosts were super welcoming. welcomed us to the Airbnb and showed us around, answered all questions, and were so sweet. The location is quiet but very accessible to the train line at Alvik, which can get you anywhere in Stockholm easily. Beautiful apartment especially with sun. Female and solo traveler friendly. Would totally recommend!

Lovely location and building. Spacious flat close to lots of restaurants and cafes.

We spontaneously went to a family event in Stockholm. The location is perfect because we could reach everything on foot. The beautiful old town is directly opposite and there are cafes and restaurants just around the corner. The apartment are beautiful and clean. We felt right at home. We were informed about the construction site in Slussen, but it did not bother us at all. The communication was very good. I inquired about a yoga studio and café and immediately received great suggestions. Thank you for this beautiful accommodation. I highly recommend it and would book it again.

We spent 3 nights at Axels. I would recommend a visit of 3 nights minimum if you are a tourist trying to explore and understand beautiful Stockholm. This apartment is very spacious and great for a family or 2 couples since it has 2 levels. The bathrooms are large and well laid out. The location is absolutely perfect! High quality restaurants offering diverse cuisine are nearby. If you like to walk, as we do, beautiful parks and impeccably maintained boulevards are found nearby in all directions. Thanks for a great experience!!

We had a great stay at Peter's place. Everything was exactly as described and he was friendly and responsive at all times. We would recommend staying at his apartment and would love to be able to come back in the future!

Perfect place to stay for our 5-night stay in Stockholm! The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. There was a dedicated parking spot made available for our rental car on the premises. Our kids loved staying in the (huge) upstairs bedroom with its own bathroom. My husband and I enjoyed staying in the downstairs bedroom, with its full bathroom. We also used the pedestal fan that was made available in the apartment. We greatly appreciated the availability of washer and dryer inside the apartment. The kitchen was spacious and well used by us. It was an easy and convenient drive to Stockholm city. The residential neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. Convenient access to supermarkets, restaurants etc. Highly recommend Melvin’s apartment.

Right in the middle of all the need to see spots in Stockholm, everything is in walking distance including central station. No stairs but there’s a narrow doorway with a very heavy door to get into the building so it might not be accessible for people with certain disabilities. Also, there’s a really great vegetarian restaurant with authentic Swedish food right across the street. Place was petite but had everything you could want and felt very clean and taken care of. Would definitely recommend

Massimiliano´s apartment is really nice. Very clean, with excellent space for a family of 4, it would probably be also good for a bigger family. It is very well located, just 2 min from the metro station and there are many restaurants and shopping close by. There is also a nice park very close to the apartment that are nice for kids. Everything went extremely well and I would recommend the apartment for other families that are coming to visit or work in Stockholm.

This place was beautiful right in the heart of Stockholm. Bella was responsive to any questions we had and even created a Google Drive of recommended restaurants, bars, and activities in the area.

Very cosy and nice apartament. Owner was Very friendly. Beautifull neighbourhood, only few steps away from park and promenade and restaurants! Even wild rabbits are living in backyard! 😀

We had a great stay at Mauro's, who is a very attentive and generous host (croissants on Sunday morning, delicious tiramisu!). The accommodation is very comfortable, impeccably clean and very pleasant with the sauna! Even though it is set back from the center of Stockholm, access is very easy with public transport. I will remember this wonderful afternoon for a long time, chatting and sharing the secrets of tiramisu! Thank you Mauro for this beautiful life lesson!

Comfortable apartment located in a suburb of Stockholm, very quiet and beautiful, of small houses with landscaped areas and parks. Metro very close. Supermarket approaching and open until late. Very nice host; quick to answer our questions. Apartment picked up but suitable for a family. There were 5 of us and it was great. If we go back to Stockholm we would not hesitate to choose Moa's place

Steffi has a fantastic appartement within walking distance of Kungsholmen neighbourhood. Checking in went spotless, apartment was well arranged, with nice touches to make us feel right at home. She had a well equipped kitchen which meant for us we were able to do quite a bit of home cooking. I also worked from the appartement for the week, for which it had sufficient space. We brought out dog and have to say this neighborhood is fastanstic for it, plenty of paths and nature right on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend this appartment for anyone coming to Stockholm and getting a feel for local life there. Thanks Steffi for hosting us. Can't thank you enough 👏🏻🔥

Eva and her family were very welcoming hosts. We had everything we needed and more during our stay at their beautiful and special place. We even enjoyed a bath in the pool. We had a lovely view from the terrace and the surrounding is also nice and green and with good restaurants. Thank you for having us!
