"The Upper room" - peaceful place near town

Newly renovated apartment of 65 sqm with space for up to 6 people. There is a comfortable 160 bed and sofa bed, as well as the addition of 2 additional 80 beds based on requests. Lush outdoor environment and rural Scandinavian decor with wooden panel from floor to ceiling. Peaceful color scheme with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Walking distance to forest, 10-15 min car to town, 7 min to lake, golf course and gym. Hultaskäret

Relax in this unique and simple accommodation on your own island. You come here if you want to be by yourselves, canoe, watch birds/beavers or fish. The island does not have electricity or running water, so those of you who want to visit this paradise cannot be too comfortable. There is a barbecue, gas stove and an outdoor toilet. The canoe is included in the rental. The island is located in a bay of Hjälmaren called Frösshammarsviken and the island is called Hultaskäret. You can take a canoe out into the big lake if you want and the weather allows.

The house is located in the village of Lunger and about 1.5 km from two nice beaches at Hjälmaren where there is a sauna and barbecue areas. A nice nature reserve is within walking distance. In the village, there is also a nice country shop. The house has an old style but is equipped with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The stairs to the upper floor are original, steep and worn but functional. The house has one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft with two beds.

Enjoy the morning coffee on the balcony with a good book or take a walk in the woods. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Studio 1-4 persons with pool and sauna

Our studio, built in 2016 is situated close to the city but still in the countryside. There are three beds - one single bed at the loft and a sofa bed (queen size) in the combined kitchen and living room. If there are requests, we can also arrange space for a fourth person on a mattress at the loft. Large bathroom with sauna. 28 sqm with bathroom and loft. Pool and garden are shared with the host family. A newly built outdoor gym is 100 meters from the studio.

The granary

Unwind in this unique and peaceful place to stay. You can still see traces of the building’s past as a grain storehouse from the mid-1800s — like the wide floorboards upstairs. When it was carefully turned into a home in the 2000s, the old loading openings were turned into bay windows to let in more light and offer a view, all while keeping the original timber frame intact. On the farm, you'll find a dog and some friendly sheep, and free-range chickens.
