Holiday rentals with a sauna in Storsjön

An absolutely fantastic place, close to everything you might want to do in a mountain. Unfortunately, winter had begun to shine with its absence at our stay but if you visit the cabin at normal snow length, you can go both luck and downhill directly from the cabin and back again. The cottage is probably relatively newly built and very fresh, possibly it has sat down a bit which caused the doors at the front and back to be a bit tricky when opening and closing. But it was kind of the only small thing we thought about, otherwise top notch!

Great place to stay that met expectations and then some. We are very happy with the stay! In addition to the fact that the apartment itself was nice, modern, spacious and cozy, we liked that there was a sauna and a nice terrace with afternoon sun. The location and proximity to the lift, shop and the "M house" was perfect.

Super nice apartment with very high standard. Perfect location with ski in ski out, with the West slope closest. Walking distance to restaurant & ski rental. Very smooth and flexible check-in. The host is very accommodating and always feedback shortly. Great information before arrival. We were here March 19-23, 2025 and will definitely be back next year!

Harold's apartment is a perfect for a family ski holiday in Åre. We had the pleasure of staying there for 3 weeks for some spring skiing. It's a light and modern space with a lovely view of the mountain, perfect at sunset and cosy in the evenings. As a family of 4 we appreciated the extra space as we were able to use 1 room as a home office and our older daughter was able to study thanks to the desk and extra screen. Nice sofa area for relaxing and a smaller snug area for reading. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of equipment and crockery and the access to a good washer and dryer much appreciated. Great hot showers with good water pressure. Grateful also for use and supply of basic things like cleaning products and salt/pepper/oils etc. Ski in and out was invaluable and worked almost until our final day (this stopped only because of the uncommonly warm weather). Also access to the ski bus if needed for town and central ski areas a 10 min walk away. Totally recommend

Amazing home at the top of the hill with miles of views! Our host was helpful and really care about their guests. Modern and clean accommodation, comfortable beds and everything you need to stay week in the mountains is available. Here we go again!

Clean and fresh accommodation! Easy to communicate with Dan and clear information about check-in, the accommodation, the area, etc. We enjoyed ourselves very much and are happy to return!

Great location, close to the slope, ski in and ski out if a little more snow, when we were there in mid April it required walking 30m to the slope. The apartment has a really great, large, open kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor. The apartment is relatively spaceous with some closets in the bedrooms and a TV area on the bottom floor with the bedrooms. A sauna that with some will can fit 4 people but 2 comfortably. Parking right outside the house. We could not get bed linen and towels which is a bit of a hassle when you travel as a family and need to bring your own.

We stayed three nights at Esbjörns appartment to go skiing in Åre. The apartment was excellent and had all the utilities one might need. However, we had to buy some basic goods such as toilet paper, salt & pepper, and coffee filters, which for such a short trip was unpractical. The location was great, with access to skiing facilities (most are closed for the early season, so check online), grocery stores, and Åre centre, just a short drive away. We unfortunately had an unprecedented amount of snow, which was challenging for our car, so be sure to bring a good one in the winter season, and keep in mind that it can take a while before the roads are cleared of snow.

The week after Easter, the snow was almost over, so instead of cross-country skiing, we hiked. It was awesome! The apartment was well located for going out on hiking trails, to waterfalls, hiking, etc.

Linda's place was lovely. Very spacious, clean and convenient for skiing in and out. My family and I had a fun week playing games and taking a sauna during Påsk. Linda was also responsive when I reached out to mention that we forgot linens because we flew to Åre and had limited space with luggage. She was able to quickly bring us clean linens for the standard fee which was very amenable. The transparent speaker is a nice touch :)

Very nice and fresh accommodation with working solutions. The sauna was good enough even for a find. Everything worked, nothing was broken. Car parking next to the house. Walking distance to the slopes.

Another great stay in Stafan's apartment! A perfect apartment in lovely surroundings. We are happy to rent the apartment again on the next trip to Åre!

We have had super nice days in Storhogna in Magnus cottage! Clean, tidy and fresh. We were three families (6 adults and 4 kids) and it was great for us. Perfect with big sofa as we were many and big dinner table so everyone was accommodated at the same time at meals without crowding. Convenient with two showers. The hanging in the hallway that made it possible for all outerwear to be hung up was also great! A well planned cabin with that little extra! We would love to come back here next year 😊

A cozy, simpler cottage in a nice area. Close to the slopes in Klövsjö and Vemdalsskalet. Very affordable. Before we arrived, we were warned that the dishwasher was broken and the error could not be fixed before our arrival, but it didn't do much. The only thing that we thought was a bit of a shame is that you could not pay, and thus avoid, the cleaning before departure, you are right out after a few days of intense skiing and it would have been nice not to think about that cleaning. But it was still pretty quick to get it done.

We had a great week, very nice accommodation, great location. Got quick replies and tips on cross-country trails nearby😀. Super content with Hanna and Hans as hosts, we would love to go back! 😀

We had a very nice week in Storhogna. The cottage was with nice views and with close connections. Accommodating and enjoyable host. Recommend the place.

House was amazing! The views and atmosphere were perfect for a relaxing stay. Price was reasonable. Maria gave thorough instructions before our stay. Only downside was that you had to bring your own hand towels which we were not aware of. Other towels and sheets we had brought with us as informed.

Cheerful house just a few meters from the transport trail to the ski slope. (Hildings). Contained two stairs, one of which was very steep so nothing for limited movement. Downstairs contained a secluded part with its own kitchenette. Cheerful porch for après-ski in the sunshine . Easy key management and quick communication with host. Walking distance to shops and garbage disposal.
